Please don't forget your FRONT DOOR: In Feng Shui your Front Door is the "Mouth of Chi" -- That wonderful place where all the Good Energy enters. We ALL need good energy in our lives.
Put some LIGHTS up! You can light up ANY area you want in Feng Shui: Your Career, your Wealth, Your Relationships; Put some Lights to VERY good use.
Wear RED (and Decorate with it): Holidays can be tiring and we have less energy. To add the FIRE ELEMENT in Feng Shui wear RED. No doubt your home could ise a lift too --add some fire to that also for a double lift.

Santa update: Local radar at the top of my chimney indicates that Santa has just passed by, once again failing to stop at my place. I don't know if Rudolph is scared of the radar thingy at the top of my chimney, or if my chimney is too skinny for Santa.

Terrific reminders Carole. The Solstice has created an awareness of the natural new year and I will be gearing up once again for Chinese New Year acts of intention that proved so effective last year.
I will be checking out and applying lights, bells and red - dancing of course is awesome, along with great music!

I hope you and your family had a lovely Christmas. This list of recommendations is excellent and surprisingly, I already follow most of the list. I have a brass sheep bell tied on my front door and it tinkles everytime someone enters or leaves.
I always have a very large bowl of fruit out on my counter and I was happy to see that all of my holiday guests were constantly helping themselves to clementines, bananas, grapes and apples.
Our living room rug is red and it seems to brighten up the room and at the same time add warmth.
