And instead, I'm back at the computer. I've switched addictions without even realizing it. I'm not only getting work from AR, I was formerly an Ebay Addict. It finally hit me that I haven't ebayed in WEEKS! I'm thinking of all the things I didn't need, didn't know I wanted and then have to find room for when they come home :)
My latest purchase included this lovely (?) ummm....item. I believe it's from Tibet, I believe it has something to do with a form of Astrology that incorporates The Three Lucks. It has a Monkey, a mouse and of couse, a Dragon (Now I KNOW that's lucky). I have no clue what it's worth (if anything) but I'm taking it to get framed (more money! :)

I am a horse so it's a "good" year for me. I actually originally trained in Western Astrology and it makes MUCH more sense and is less rigid then Chinese Astrology. I do the Chinese method when the client requests it or if I need an "aupicious" day for groundbreaking.....
One of my early examples of using Chinese astrology related to a client who's husband had been transferred to Arizona for a wonderful job opportunity. She was selling her home and asked me a good date for her to meet him out there. According to her Chinese astrological chart, it wasn't wise for her to move in a Southwest direction for two years! I couldn't tell her that, her husband was out there. According to her Western astrolgical sun sign and taking other things into account, it came up that 3 months would be a good time for her to make major changes in her life....more practical. By the way, I am still in contact with her and things are fine!

Hi Carole - just like anything else - in moderation.. Take the best information, process it how it can help or hurt a situation and go with your gut in most cases. Tradition and belief systems vary from person to person but it truly helps to know what another person may be thinking.
