Well... I've broken all the rules except the one for two night stands... nonetheless, I am very happy in my bedroom.

Love this!  Great job, Laura.  I enjoyed the article and am currently redoing a small guest bedroom with white ceiling fan.  The room used to be used as an office and it has atrocious "early laminate" floor.  Currently, it is decorated w/ wood headboard/footboard, two end tables with beat up tops, a funky mirror, and large oversized flower.  I'd love to reuse the furniture but the accessories have to go, as does the utlitarian fan.  Thank you for the inspiration.

Well worth the read.  Great information and I'm okay on all but the fan.  I liked the picture of the bed in the article and I think I need to liven up my bed's accessories.

Thanks for the tips, Laura.  I will see how much of this we can implement.
