Get Your Music Fix at Amoeba Music on Sunset Blvd in California

Yesterday, my fiance and I were strolling along Sunset Blvd after waiting online to see a screening for Jordan Peel's movie, 'Get Out' and told it was full. Turned out to be a good thing because we wondered into Amoeba Music (The worlds largest independent record store)

I headed up stairs to get a better view of the record store and when I had a moment to really appreciate the vast collection, I just stared in wonder. It was pretty out of sight to see so many CD's, Records, posters, books and many other 'random' items.

The chain of music stores first started in Berkley, CA back in 1990 paving the way for several other store to open, including the one on Sunset Blvd in 2001.

Laura good morning.

Amoeba is an old establishment but the amount of goods is unbelievable.

I have spent a ton of my youth in record stores and once had over 5000 albums. I don't consider it time wasted because I have music that will never leave me.

Oh wow, that looks like a treasure trove. I haven't been in a music store like that in many years. Glad they still exist.
