Motivational Monday: Plant Your Seeds of Today to Harvest Tomorrow

This was a saying my mom, Carole Provenzale, would repeat to me growing up when she saw me worrying about various life happenings: "Plant your seeds of today to harvest tomorrow."

This mantra of a saying helped me as a teenager and still helps me as an adult. It reminds me to take a step back and reflect on any given situation that I may feel challenged by and ask: Did I take all my ideas and do my best with putting them into action?

If I responded yes, then I need to surrender and allow time for growth and maturity before my solution could be harvested. If I responded no, more seeds need to be planted.

Good morning Laura Cerrano .  Planting seeds is always a great analogy in the business!   Happy Monday and have a great week.

Patience will always be rewarded and farmers have known that for years. Can't harvest a crop if the seeds were never planted

Surrender is my favorite word and thought these days.

I agree, do your best and have faith:)

Good morning Laura.  My seeds are planted and I am trying to remember to keep watering them.

That is sound advice from your mom,.  Pondering if you have taken all possible steps can help guide your decisions.  We don't always reap the benefits of our actions right away.

Hi Laura Cerrano, one seed a day will make a huge difference in a year.

Laura what a great post and picture, now I do not have "surrender" in my vocabulary, but I am familiar with "patience":) Endre
