Sometimes the best thing to do, is to just rest. My nature is to “go-go," which seems as if that could be helpful, yet sometimes if I am not mindful I end up burning the candles at both ends. If you do not allow yourself to slow down, your body will make you. That could manifest in the form of a depleted immune system, making your easily susceptible to becoming sick.
It's important allow yourself adequate amounts of rest as that will help rebuild your body, mind and spirit. Learn to adopt good sleeping habits and know when to take a step back and slow down.

This is a good post and very timely as fall and winter approach and flu season begins. Thanks for the reminder to take care of ourselves!
I've experienced that situation...going, going, going, crash. Your body will take charge if you don't!
