You may hold a preconceived idea that in order to "Feng Shui" their home, they have to get rid of everything and spend a ton of money. Please know, this is not true.
Personally, I enjoy a simple, laid back, modest presentation that highlights what inspires me, adventures I have been on, while also honoring important people who have helped form my life. This is done with the display of gifts, images, colors, textures, objects and other subtle or well recognized presentations. My home tells the story of where I have been, my current situation and where I may be going. You could say its like living inside a real life vision board.
So no, you do not need to get rid of everything and spend a lot of money. Use what's available, if you so choose. I am also a fan of "curb shopping," you can find some amazing and useful items.
Happy Feng Shui-ing!
