2015 National League Champions - The New York Mets!

 

 

It has been a few years since the New York Mets have been in this position, National League Champions and going to the WORLD SERIES!! !!! There is much to celebrate and there still a lot to accomplish. Here's to the Met's for doing an AMAZING job sweeping the Chicago Cubs and congrats to Daniel Murphy for setting new MLB home run record in the post season.

boo hiss.  And I'm really not even a cubbies fan, but had no dog in that fight and was pulling for them because of a variety of reasons.  In the end, I hope the Mets win the series because I'm a NL fan not an AL fan.  Pitchers should have to bat

Laura did you watch the game?? I have nothing to gain... I liked their manager... unlike the Cubbies... but I would have loved seeing the Cubbies move on... let's not forget they will be a force to recon with next year 97 wins..... Endre

Laura, OK, I am totally dating myself, but I can remember the very first Mets World Series win.  I was working in an airline office on Wall Street, and the ticker tape parade went right by our front door.  What fun!
