Deeper Insights Into The Function of Our Heart

Deeper Insights Into The Function of Our Heart

For years, western science has been educating generations that our heart is simply in our bodies to pump blood, and that's it.

Since 1991, the HeartMath Institute has researched and developed reliable, scientifically based tools to help people bridge the connection between their hearts and minds, and deepen their connection with the hearts of others. Source: https://www.heartmath.org/

This is also known as Psychophysilogical Coherence. In other words: This is saying there is science that provides measurable evidence of harmony between the body, mind and emotions.

Psycho = Psychological ~ Mental + Emotions

physiological = Body

Coherence = “Systematic connections” Aka: Harmony

A moment that I can relate to HeartMath Science was when mom passed away in 2010. Sharp pains would pulse through my body and in particular my chest (if felt like a mini heart attack) when a thought of her came into my mind.  I was greatly in dis-harmony. What I felt was literally a broken heart. Yet, as I healed and regained my harmony the pains were no more. Now when I think of her, I laugh with joy and smile inwardly and outwardly, sharing stories upon stories.

Can you recall an experience with your Heart energy?

In my life I have suffered much loss of loved ones.  Some old having lived full lives and ready to carry one, others children who never got to live their lives. I too have felt true profound heartache. That ache tends to dull and be replaced with happy memories as time passes

Good morning Laura.  My dad died in 1977.  It took me over 30 years before I could talk about him without breaking down and crying.  My heart still has not recovered..

Nothing can compare with the death of someone we love dearly. Both of my parents have passed on............mom 22 years ago and dad is now 19 years. I miss them terribly but know that I will see them again.

Our emotions can manifest themselves in many different ways and the heart is one of the prime areas for feelings.

Nice story about how you now can feel joy when thinking of Carole.  The body/mind connection is stronger than we care to think.
