I hate to blame the bearer of bad news; it’s really NOT fair. I’ve noticed lately that I’m beginning to dislike the arrival of my mailman. Since I have gotten out of the hospital, the bills have been coming faster then I can keep up. You would think they might let you get a bit WELL before they’d start sending these things.

Funny with what I’m paying for an individual policy (over $800.00 per month); it amazes me what is NOT covered. Things that you wouldn’t know about, of course, unless you required a hospital stay. I will have to wonder if it should ever come up again if I can afford to go!
And you also forget the occasional GOOD things you can receive. A hand-written card, for example. From someone you don’t know so you have to hunt for your glasses so you can see exactly what it is. Some of you might remember a while ago I wrote a post about being contacted for a brief “Thank You” note for an article in Woman’s Day. Janene Mascarella from The Long Island Exchange had previously done an article/interview with me on Feng Shui and when she got the assignment for Women’s Day, she thought enough to contact me for a submittal. She did advise me, at the time, that it also had to be approved by the editors at Woman’s Day. I didn’t think of it at all until I received an email from Janene that they had decided to publish it.

And of course what you thought would happen never does. It was relatively early today when my son got home from work---bringing in the MAIL. Some of you might remember this post: 100,000 Points and One HECK of a Journey: DETERMINATION....A Feng Shui Story and the fact that I had found my long lost cousin because of it. You don't necessarily get the person or thing you EXPECT in life....or DO you?
Somehow, 1996 and TODAY are feeling very familiar. I resonated with Feng Shui and when I heard of the school right here on Long Island there was no way I was NOT going to go. It's amazing what can happen when you are so determined.
There were, of course, more bills—and that note which said: “I am a friend of Deborah Rose and came across your note in Woman’s Day. I’d meant to contact you sooner but had forgotten about it and ran across it today. I thought you might like her address.” It was signed by someone I don’t know but will always treasure and gave me an address for Deborah that is in New York! It’s actually her card which shows she has become a Licensed Massage Therapist, Reiki Master and provides Reflexology.

What’s going on Here? If life has gone full circle, what happens next? I’m still not sure if yesterday was a step back or forward in going back to my former school and today I find the person that gave me the direction of Feng Shui (no pun intended). So what happens AFTER full circle? Are we back where we started? I am thrilled, of course and wrote Janene to let her know. And my AR friends who are there---even when the mailman doesn’t come : )

Carole,
How exciting that in this round about way you have been put in touch with her and right at the same time that you've gone back to your own school too!
I imagine she will be thrilled to hear about your journey and how now, thanks partly to her, you are going to be teaching a class at the same place where a piece of the beginning was.
I hope you're able to get in touch with her soon.....keep us posted!
Jo
Carole ~ That's pretty amazing that this person contacted you with her address, and here she is right in the same state! You'll have to let us know what happens.
I understand about the medical bills. I've got the ones for my son's chin incident coming in now. For all that the insurance covers, between everything and everyone involved, it looks like almost $300.00 for us to pay. It makes you wonder what was actually covered.
Hi Carole,
I don't think hospitals have a lot of sympathy when it comes to "billing". It is so disappointing to learn that your insurance that you are paying a fortune for does not cover your expenses.
As for going full circle, well many of us say we wish we could start over and know what we know now.....perhaps we can. :0)
Carole ~ The world is a circle with thousand begginings, and nobody knows where the circle ends. Show a happy face to all the bad experiences. Peace
Fernando
They say people come into your life for a reason, season or a life time. I think the right people appear at the right time for the right reasons. Take care!
Karen, Thank you for your views, I don't want to think of it as "closed" either and I like your perspective better!
Sally, I have been very fortunate lately and I'm counting every blessing that comes along!
Carol, Maybe it is karma, something I hadn't considered. I don't even want to question it, I feel too lucky :)
Jo, I am going to write her, I don't want to shock her too much. I was amazed at the timing as well....It's funny but Adam brought me the card and said he remembers her perfectly. Odd because he was only 11 or 12.
Missy, I got more today, you would think I didn't have insurance! One of the doctors have sent 3 bills since I got out about 2 1/2 weeks ago, you'd think he was starving!
Kris, I have no idea what happens next but it will sure be interesting to find out :) I promised myself that I was going to volunteer again this year so I know that will be taking up a lot of time.
Sarah, Thank you, I had it on my web site for a while. A friend of mine took that shot and sent it to me and I just love it! I will let her know you loved it as well.
Kathy, I would have been happy to get away with $300. Apparently the doctors charge more then insurance allows and they are telling me I must pay their exorbitant amounts.....so I will. At $10 a week; I might get through in 8 or 9 years :)
Rosario, Funny that I never thought this person would move from Arizona which is where I met her; it amazes me that she lives in New York!
Cynthia, You're right, I have said often "if I only knew then what I know now." But I want to be moving ahead and wonder if you have to go back, first.
Fernando, Sounds like the Medicine Wheel. You get on and never really get off, just repeat the cycles--and hopefully learn from it.
Teri, I'm sure he'll bring something besides more bills.....but that card coming really made me stop in my tracks and I'm thrilled to be able to get in touch with her.
Gary, I'm guilty, I always say there are no coincidences and no accidents....and you didn't believe it before? :)
Jennifer, Thank you for your comment. I love that poem and have it saved--and I believe it as well. What a nice thought to have right now, thank you.
I truly believe the title of your post - you meet the people you are supposed to meet! I hope you can dispute some of those bills especially since the doctors did not listen to you - ask them to write off what the insurance doesn't pay!. More Importantly... I'm glad you are feeling better Carole! And glad your past acquaintance is within an easy visiting distance- what a pleasant surprise!
Sincerely,
Grace
Carole, I think that sometimes life takes you for a spin. Some days it feels like you are in a twilight zone. Hopefully, you come out of it with a very positive experience.
I can relate to your feelings towards the mailman's visits. With market being down, I've been stressed out for the last few months. I've been trying to not worry about money, but it's easier said than done. So, with the Law of Attraction constantly working, I'm not sure how we can best put ourself in a position of attracting abundance while experiencing difficulties and being under stress.
Hi Carole,
Much good luck. Stay positive and keep looking at/for the good stuff.
All the best!

Lizette, I haven't seen you much but glad to hear you've been busy. I have as well and it's always a good feeling! Keep on your spin of good luck!
Joan, That's right, that's the person---I am absolutely thrilled. It was only a two or three line thing they put in Woman's Day and from that I found my long lost cousin AND the very person I was looking for all these years. Now I can truly thank her.
Nancy, This was a terrific surprise, especially since the magazine was put out several months ago! And how kind of her friend to take the time to write me....I sure hope she is surprised to hear what she's done for another person.
Diane, Things happen very quickly for me it seems :) I was in the hospital for a week but I am fine now--thank you. My kids helped a lot and I had to reschedule all my clients who couldn't have been nicer about it.
Jeff & Grace, So far they are not allowing me to write off anything, I am amazed at what insurance does NOT cover. I figure if I pay everyone $10 a week I'll be done in 5 years :) -- but there doesn't seem to be anything I can do about it. I have to think at least they finally, finally heard me and am so glad to be better and not have to get shots every week!
Lisa, Thank you, I am fine. It is unbelievable how this turned out---honestly, you never know what's going to happen next!
Arina, I met this woman years and years ago in Arizona; she is the one who initially told me about Feng Shui but I have been unable to find her all these years to Thank her! What an incredible fine, I am thrilled.
Marzena, Thank you, I hope your mailman brings you something wonderful as well :) I believe things have been more difficult for most people and I myself am wondering (since I include travel time) whether I'm going to have to raise prices--our gas is up to $4 a gallon (which as you know can get you around the block). but even during stressful times something amazing happens.....
