Sometimes something seems SO simple at times to make any sense. On many of the subjects of Feng Shui, I can only give a hint or two about what to do to start the process because Feng Shui is SO involved. If I make it difficult or confusing, no one is going to even TRY it. Simple changes can, in fact, start you on your way to learning more because very often, things change and it makes you wonder.....IS IT FENG SHUI?
I have posted this before and mentioned it before because if you're new to Feng Shui or simply don't want to invest much time or energy into learning anything about it because you're a skeptic, this one is so easy you just MIGHT try it. And you just MIGHT get results....and it will make you wonder and maybe spur you to learn more about it and implement it into your lives.
As many of you are aware, I am working with the Lovely Sheron Cardin on Activerain who has become a great friend. Our consultation is taking forever for several reasons: Sheron wants to take her time and absorb it all, I have had house issues to deal with and we both had vacations. This may be the longest consultation in history but Sheron IS seeing changes. And I don't think she's wondering anymore. She recently posted the second of her posts regarding her Feng Shui "Adventure" Sharks, Feng Shui and the Internet...they never sleep!
and there is no question the energy in her home is changing. Her first blog on this process if you'd like to read it is: A Feng Shui Journal From A Decorator's Point of View; The First Miracle!
I came home yesterday after being out all day in New York City to some wonderful ActiveRain sights: A featured post AND an email that thrilled me. I wrote this lovely person back and asked her if I would be able to print her email and I would be happy to make it anoyamis. She wrote me back to say that it would be just fine to include it in my blog and it would be fine to use her name. I LOVE hearing these things and I can't thank her enough. *Since I understand we cannot copy and paste anymore, even with permission, I have changed several words of no importance but this is what she sent me:
Message: Carole - I read about how you worked with Sheron and that brought me to read your blogs. Well, after that (several days ago) I put a $20.00 bill on top of my bills. Now, I need to backtrack a little bit.
On September 11th (this year) my daughter had a car accident where she hit a tree (there was a bug in the car that hit her face and she was trying to get it out). She was okay except for some bruises and contusions from the seatbelt and airbag but she was VERY lucky to even be alive. Her car was totalled.
My husband and I were talking about what we could afford as far as a payment on another car for her as she is a full-time student. She bought this car from my sister for about $4,800 and the book value on an excellent car was about $5,500.00. So we figured we would get enough to pay off the loan (about $2,000), and consider ourselves lucky.
Yesterday I spoke with the insurance company - after the deductible they are valuing it at $5,800.00! AFTER the deductible. They are going to be paying off the loan and then sending us a check for the balance. I had to ask the guy to repeat what he just said. My husband had said no way would we get much more than the loan pay-off amount.
I have to tell you that I don't know if it is the $20.00 covering my bills that helped, but I'm leaving it there!
Thanks!
Kathy Kathy Passarette, Creative Home Expressions
There is no doubt this could be just plain luck but the post Kathy is referring to is:I promised you another Feng Shui Tip for Money: How to COVER your bills! By Feng Shui Long Island, New York City
Yes, I KNOW it's too simple to work and this is only the BEGINNING of what we do to address a "Wealth" issue. It has, however, worked for me and many of my clients. I believe Feng Shui works if you believe what Professor Lin Yun says: Feng Shui works on INTENTION (The Law of Attraction in The Secret). It is 80% of the INTENTIONS you put into it and the actual physical changes account for only 20%.
So if you're a newbie, or you missed the post or would like to read Sheron's interesting stories maybe you'll try it---because I sure do love those emails! And some future posts will address The Five Elements, something we consider very important in Feng Shui as well. THANKS, KATHY!

Carole, This is all wonderful news. I had read Sheron's first blog on this, now I will read the second...thanks for the link.
And the email you received is such a nice one....I'm so glad they were able to work out their money issue and that their daughter was not badly injured in the accident.
Very positive post and I look forward to all of your blogs, thanks for the links !!
Jo
Good morning Carole,
I am going to take your suggestion of covering your bills and see what happens. I am also going to suggest this to my husband for his company as he received a major blow last week, which means some changes for us. I know all will turn out well!!
Hi Jo, Thank you for your comment. I thought it was wonderful of Kathy to share and she's doubtful but optimistic; I hope she tries some of the other things I've mentioned as well.
Sheron, We are never going to get through your consultation but it's been a delight! Hurry up and finish that area, we have work to do!
Adam, I think you would be surprised how popular Feng Shui is on Long Island and New York City and it's growing every day. I'm sorry that you weren't at my LIBOR presentation, I was able to give more information out and do it more clearly.
Trace, Please report back and let us know how it goes. I go through a whole process before I post which means I try it, I ask a friend and if we're both successful I call past clients. I got such a good response I thought I'd pass it along. I'm sure you will as well.
Cheryl, The age old question. When I was writing articles one of the online places that published them kept asking me to write one about creating more time. I tried, I couldn't do it----I hve not figured that one out--yet.
Diane, Hi! Please let us know if it helps, it would be interesting to hear back. Sheron is having good luck, Kathy is (we THINK) having it work for her and I wish it for you and everyone. I wish you a wonderful day.
Carole, thank you. I will let you know if it helps............hey it sure can not hurt anything..
Carole,
As your friend, AND an eager 'student', you KNOW that I am a firm believer in the principles of Feng Shui! I have had so many positive things happen as a result!
I hope that our fellow AR members will keep an open mind and read (or re-read) your many blogs (and Sheron's!). Great things are just waiting to happen to anyone who believes!
VAL
Diane, It sure can't hurt anything, thank you for pointing that out! It's possible people don't want to switch back from online billing which is SO easy but I bet they'd be glad they did.
Val, I remember your business just took off! It was just wonderful to watch and I'm so glad to have you as a friend. That's what AR is all about.
Hello Carole,
I missed Sharon's post, thanks for the link. I'm going to read both now.
It must make you feel really good to to hear from people like the lady that sent you the email. What you do really makes a difference in people's lives.
Carole - I am so glad to hear your daughter is doing well.
As for covering the bills with money...this is all new to me and I am always open to new ideas. Thanks for the tip!
Donna, Keep learning and try something. One thing in Feng Shui often leads to another. I have worked with total skeptics who are now the biggest advocates for it!
Cynthia, It was so nice to get that...I love hearing back from my clients with some wonderful news. That is the best part of this work.
Janice, I know you are open and it would help in your staging business as well. I tried for a long time to spark an interest with home stagers because it fits right in but there was no interest. You're there anyway....if you want some ideas, call or send an email!
Joan, Our own Sheron is having good results and Kathy was nice enough to email me. What are you waiting for :)? It just works.....
Sally, Thank you, I sure wish people would keep an open mind. It's funny that it's so popular on the West Coast, in New York and Florida (and in Hawaii, right?) but not in many states, I wasn't aware of that until I signed onto AR.
Candy, My house issues, there is a light!! They came today for that drain line, it was completely blocked because the Village did not take care of it and they are responsible for it's upkeep. If it wasn't so much money I wouldn't do anything but it's over $40,000 right now---and counting. The person I used did a great job on leveling the house and I don't think I will be needing those french drains (which I was dreading!). I see light :)!!!! Thank you for always thinking about me!
