Creating a Vision Board for your home and Office by Feng Shui NY consultant Laura Cerrano
Vision Boards are another tool to help enhance your perspective on life. You combine your intention with visuals that help remind you everyday what you seek to achieve to help yourself, which in time will help others.
You have the option of making a vision board on your own or you can purchase one from your local craft store or even Walmart :) In the video Laura Cerrano NY Feng Shui consultant explains in detail how to make a vision board, what it represents and how to use it.
Materials needed to create your own Vision Board
- Wood frame, with the Accent of red preferred
- Piece of Cork Board
- Cutting utensils, exacto knife, box cutter, survival knife or even a kitchen knife
- straight edge ruler, right angle ("L" shaped ruler)
- round or rectangular mirror (optional) Explained in the video by Laura
The size of your Vision board is up to you. The one Laura demonstrates is great for an office or cubical. At home you can go a bit bigger if you choose:)

I once considered startting a Vision Board Group here on Active Rain. Was too busy to manage it properly so I didn't. There are some great online vision board tools too. Thanks for sharing this.

Kate, there are tons of different versions of Vision Boards :) I saw one where a Lady mentioned a "traveling Vision Board" which was pretty cool :)

Ellen, A vision board is a wonderful way to keep children motivated at home and if you are a teacher, diffidently in the classroom. When I was teaching I created a Art lesson that taught my students about collage and incorporating the idea of the "vision board". They had a ton of fun and you could see their imaginations taking off :) I'm glad to hear you also use your Vison board Daily :)
