Skylar watching the creativeness unfold :)

It has been about a year since I official touched any kind of art related material or placed a brush on canvas. Let me tell you, it feels great! The texture, colors and smells! Artist tip: if you use oil paints, make sure to be in very good ventilated environment.

The image on your left is nearing completion, I need to finish the foreground and bits of the background. The image on your right has just begun :) I am pre-paring for an art show coming up this Saturday and in later October...fun times!

Remember to check in with your creative juices once and a while, your spirit need to play too :)

Good Morning Laura,

Thanks for the post. Skylar really seems plugged in. The art work is interesting. It seems that both share a spiral foundation? Good luck at the art show. Have a great day.

The one on the left doesn't look like it needs anything. They are both beautiful! Skylar is too cute! :)

I can not think of a better way to express yourself  then on canvas. The one on the left is beautiful.

Cute puppy Laura and BTW you are talented! I encourage you to not keep those brushes put away for long periods of time anymore:) fall & winter are both great seasons for art as well - keep painting!

Sincerely,

Grace

Laura, my daughters love to paint also, they use it for relaxation.  And that's good for me, I always have "free" paintings to change around for my office.

Laura - Skylar certainly seems to be an attentive audience ..... painting certainly is one way to let go of work related thoughts if even for a short period of time
