Name that Photo: Bonsai Tree in Brooklyn NY by New York Feng Shui consultant

So what is it??!!
FUDO in the Brooklyn Botanical Garden NY
Please meet FUDO the Bonsai tree. This Bonsai had many centuries of life behind it. It was removed from its mountain home above the Itokawa river by an old man, Tahei, in 1858. It eventually became part of the famous collection of the world-ronowed Bonsaiman. Mr. Kyuzo Murata, in Omiya, Japan. Sadly, the tree died in 1971, some months after arriving from Japan. The estimated age of FUDO, 800 years old!
When you visit the Brooklyn Botanic Garden make sure to stop on in and visit FUDO and all the other Bonsai trees :)

Laura there in no doubt that those are some very interesting trees!
Hey Bill, these trees I believe are some very old wise spirits when talking about looking to nature for answers :)
Hi Laura...Very interesting post, this certainly is an interesting art.
Love your photo quality, Nice
Cheers
Such an interesting way that these trees grow and the amount of work that goes into them.
Laura, very interesting, reminds me of the simplicity blog I just wrote.
Very cool tree! 800 years old....amazing! Thanks for sharing and letting me know about the NY Botanical Garden. I would love to check it out when I am back visiting family. :)
Fred, it really is, a lot of patience and dedication to take caring these trees :)
Morgan, that is right, you need to really show love and caring when "raising" Bonsai trees.
Ellen, the way they present the Bonsai trees were great because in a sense they too are simple and do not need a lot to survive just the basics :)
Janice, yes be sure to stop on by and take in the sights, there is always something new to see when strolling around the Brooklyn Botanical Garden :)
