I want help clear up a mis-conception about Feng Shui Space Clearings for loved ones who have passed. Today my client on Long Island NY brought up a very good question and even greater concern. He recently lost his grandmother whom he was very close to and lived with. A main intention for the Feng Shui consultation today was to preform a space clearing ceremony to help release any sad negative energy and also to allow a new start for himself. He asked me, "when you preform a space clearing will it make my grandmother disappear? I can feel her presents and it comforts me, Please do not make her disappear".
I was really touched by his comment. When Space clearings are preformed the intention behind it plays a very powerful part. I told him, the space clearing is to help acknowledge your grandmothers spirit for being on earth and saying thank you for all she has done to help guide, protect and love you. A space clearing signifies, if for some reason her spirit or any spirit was unaware, that it is time to continue on to their next journey. The clearing will never "make her disappear". What is gone is her physical presents. We are all made of energy, and are all energetically linked, even with the "unseen dimensions". I told my client if you wish to call on your grandmother for help or advice, anything she will come :)
