Determination can go a long Way If Your Focused

Determination can go a long Way If Your Focused

This may seem silly but again the world can offer an array of way to teach and learn.  I was looking outside my home on Long Island New York and came across this little squirrel eating a large piece of Pizza...of all things! This seems to be a trend. He was chowing down on his newly found gold and when I opened the front door he became startled and started to run..as would I.

I have to admit it was pretty funny watching a little squirrel run down the side walk and across the street with a piece of pizza the size of himself :) But what also caught my attention was how determined he was to keep that piece of pizza even when it seemed he might have to abandon it.  Determination can go a long way with what you choose to do in life...in the squirrels case, he ate a great meal!

Laura, Great photo!  Who would have thought squirrels eat pizza?  We live and learn.

And the squirrel becomes the teacher.  A good lesson in that for all of us.  And yes, if the prize is enticing enough, it's worth fighting for.  I love it.

Laura, funny he should have pizza after we spoke today. He wont get any of the Sicilian one we spoke about today, cause you'll love it and eat it all!

Do you think he bit off more than he could chew?  Determination can go a long way with what you choose to do in life...in the squirrels case, he ate a great meal!.. Can you believe he ate the WHOLE thing?

Hey, Laura - The ground squirrels are industrious out here. If you leave your backpack on the sand at the beach, and unprotected, they will drag the backpack away. Unfortunately, I don't go to that specific beach anymore because it's too difficult for my bad knees to get to. Just a half mile from me, though, is Lake Murray where the ground squirrels are equally industrious:

The squirrels we had in Texas simply stuffed themselves on acorns throughout the year.

I do not think I have seen a squirrel eat pizza. I wonder how that diet works for them...

If a squirrel can have that much determination, then so can we! Only a New York squirrel can do that, lol.

Laura - That is the very first pizza eating squirrel I have seen.  The fact that he managed to get that slice up into a tree is equal astounding.  He looked like a really BIG and healthy squirrel.  I suspect he knows how to stay FOCUSED on his food supply:-)
