Exploring New York City Wall Street Financial District with Feng Shui Manhattan NY Consultant Laura Cerrano
Today was a trip way down town in New York City to the Wall Street Financial District. Before walking the Down-town New York City streets Laura Cerrano Feng Shui Long Island NY consultant traveled through the NYC Subway system. Upon leaving to go above ground, she noticed an interesting tend with the NY Subway Ceramic Tile Designs.
All the tiles where an image of an single eye
The beauty of Art, is that is is open to interpretation and derives from that individuals experience. After the tragic and sad events of 9/11, Laura's reaction was that these human eyes symbolized the "evil eye" protection icon. The entire NYC Subway Walls of the Chamber Street stop was covered with them. If you are familiar with Chamber Street in NYC then you will know that it is literally across the street from the WTC.

While I love Manhattan, I don't often get to the Wall Street area on my visits. Thank you for "taking me along" on your recent trip to the financial district!
Laura, these pictures are great!! You captured the energy of Manhattan, including their cell phone lunch time, haha.
Craig, I do not as well because of the events, but today I had lunch with a friend who works in that location so an opportunity presented it's self :)
Rita, Thank you, Wall street was bustling today...very busy with workers and tourists...and cell phones :)
Laura, those shots of Federal Hall and Trinity Church were great, but they seemed as in a canyon surrounded by those skyscrappers.
Loved seeing these pictures today. It made me miss NYC. My best friend is there right now walking around on those awesome streets.
Carole and Laura, these are great photos of Financial district with New York Stock Exchange and the bull. Looked like it was a great weather for the photos too.
Bruce, these are the oldest streets in NYC and to walk them is amazing. It is kind of interesting you say that, because the building are much smaller. From a Feng Shui perspective they say having a larger building by your business symbolizes you being overpowered by them or they tying to put you out of business. the financial district is towered by larger building all around..almost like the US is to big for it's self to handle...at least that is how I interpret it and from our events seems to provide that evidence.
Lizette, I love exploring Lower Manhattan NY, everything about it is so interesting...hope you best friend has a great time!
Eileen, it was steamy out but very nice, we had ourselves vendor food for lunch, yum!
