Be Careful what you Wish for: Part 2
Some of you may recall a post called :Be Careful what You Wish for?
I wanted to update you with two businesses that set of shop next to one another. Krispy Kreme and Jenny Craig located in Farmingdale New York. Obviously both store are complete opposites. Some saw this as a plus while others theorized one would eventually "kick the bucket."

Krispy Kreme is replaced with Verizon in Farmingdale NY
In this case opposites did not attract, Krispy Kreme went out of business within four months :/ Sorry Kripsy Kreme, your tasty but no match for JENNY CRAIG.
Have a blessed Weekend everyone!

That's funny! Who'd have thought Jenny Craig would pull more weight.
Laura, that makes perfect sense. But my question is, a cellular phone outlet? How is that complementary to Jenny Craig?
I love that Laura, such classic opposites, good for each other. EVERYTHING in moderation...
Personally I'd rather go in to Krispy Kreme than Verizon, but that's just me. :)
Well, at least it wasn't replaced by KFC! I am a Krispy Kreme fan though. I doubt I'd visit Jenny Craig.
Hi Laura, That is too funny! I actually blurted out laughing when I realized what I was looking at. I love this and you should send it into the newspaper with a great punch line.
Thank goodness they saw the light. 4 months. Amazing.
This is great-- looks like some good material for Leno, Letterman or Kimmel! LOL
The power of wishing to look good Laura! Four months was pretty short though, the public hardly had a chance to know Krispy Kreme was there!
I'll take Krispy Kreme over Jenny Craig anytime. But I need Jenny Craig more than Krispy Kreme.
Oh my gosh, I am tears laughing!!! We just got a Krispy Kreme here but certainly not by a Jenny Craig! I gotta go read the first post - I missed it.
Funny, guess their sales and marketing leader didn't notice who was their "neighbor".
Laura - That is a much better fit. . .LOL The whole thing with the Krispy Kreme store was that it reminded me of my own situation. I swim a couple miles three or four times a week. I usually roll right out of the health center parking lot, and into Taco Bell afterward. . .NOT GOOD!
I was there just today in our Farmingdale office. The secretary said that they have been gone for months. She also saifd they brought the donuts in at that location - did not actually bake there.
