Exploring Montauk Long Island NY with New York City Feng Shui consultant Laura Cerrano, Part 2
Exploring Long Island NY with Feng Shui LI and Manhattan Feng Shui NY
Ok here we go with part two of Exploring Montauk Long Island NY! To start, lets head up the Montauk Light House NY stairway, I hope you like climbing :) O and before doing that, make sure to check out the Montauk New York Museum.
Montauk New York Museum, exhibit on Montauk Erosion
Exhibit honoring the Montaukett Tribe which shares, images, artifacts and documents of their life before and After the English Colonist settled on Long Island NY
Entrance way up to the NY Montauk Light House
Montauk Long Island NY Stairway up to the tipy top of the Light House
Make sure your Cardio is in check!
You can not walk on the platform because the coast guards are still in control of handling the light attached to the light house, so I could only take photos of this nature. View of the North side of Montauk NY.
View of the Southside/ Western direction of Montauk NY
If you look closely you will see a small tower stretching up over the trees. That is actually a radio tower used during WWII to transmit information and locations for Planes flying their missions and detecting the enemy. The Radio Tower is located at Camp Hero NY State Park.
Inside view of Camp Hero New York, but Visitors are restricted to only observing from behind the fences. The Montauk Long Island NY base was disguised as a town as not to be detected by enemies, the Cafeteria for example was a Church.
Montauk Camp Hero NY Trenches used to travel underground to avoid enemy detection during World War Two
Camp Hero NY has so many interesting stories and is full of intriguing history. Many NY Montauk locals say that mind surveillance, control of the climate and distinct populations along with time travel experiments were preformed in this area around 1943. It seemed to coincide with the "Philadelphia Project." This was testing of "radar invisibility experiment" by the Navy, which was believed to have caused the entire USS Eldridge Ship to disappear. Also stories of Alien abductions and communication have been reported. All these activities are known as the "Montauk Project."
There is so much more but I do not want to over Montauk you :) So I shall end this mini two part Explore Long Island NY series with a video of the Great Atlantic Ocean of the coast of Montauk Long Island NY. This video was taken mainly for the sound not really the visual...it is short so if you choose to listen...enjoy! Have a blessed day :)

The Montauk Lighthouse is a serene and exquisite place! Thanks for the pictures.
Wonderful history....and the sound and visual gave me a sense of peace.
Part 2 was just as good as part 1 in the Exploring Montauk series! Love the Montauk lighthouse!
Whoa, Laura - AWESOME SHOTS! The one of the spiral staircase is superb - kinda made me a little woozy! :) You do a remarkable job highlight the different areas near you - I love your posts!
Hi Laura, I really enjoyed part II and that was most interesting about Camp Hero and the Montauk Project. I had seen a show on the History Channel about the alleged Philadelphia Experiment so who knows what went on there. Was it on the beaches of Long Island or New Jersey that those Nazi saboteurs came ashore from a U-boat(they were quickly captured) during WWII?
Oh wow what a staircase Laura! But wasn't the climb worth it? The view is stunning!
Laura what a wonderful writeup on Montauk. This brings back memories, my son was about 4 when we visited the lighthouse and decided he was going to roll down the hill, what a scare that was.
Laura, I have never heard of Montauk until now and now I feel like have visited. I love light houses but don't live in an area where I get to see them.
Laura, that is a great post! Thanks for sharing your photos and Montauk with us!
Hi Laura, we always visit the Montauk Lighthouse when we go to Montauk. Spectacular views!
Hello Laura and very well done with some great photos, thanks for the view & info!
VB ;-)
Zeta, I was very excited to visit the "end" of long Island NY. It truly was memorable!
Sally, Your welcome, there is so much more...but do not want to over Montauk :)
