Feng Shui Long Island Exploring Southampton New York on Memorial Day Weekend
Exploring Long Island New York
It is that time again, time to fire up the grills, play in the sun and hit the beaches to get that long awaited tan! This Saturday I took a trip to Southampton New York for a Feng Shui consultation and to kick around the well furbished South Fork Long Island town.
A brief history of the Southampton's community. The Village of Southampton settled in 1640 and became an incorporated village in 1894. It is the oldest English settlement in the state of New York and is named after the British Earl of Southampton. Other villages around the Southampton's boundaries you can visit are, Sag Harbor, North Haven, Quogue, Westhampton Beach, West Hampton Dunes and the Shinnecock Indian Reservation. The Shinnecock Indian Reservation was established in 1701. This is the oldest Native American reservation in the United States.
Shoppers on a beautiful day in the Town of Southampton Long Island New York
This Long Island town was thriving with activity and great energy. Everywhere you turned people were shopping, chatting with friends and family and my favorite....eating! Do not forget, Southampton is also known as Long Island's Wine Country, please taste responsibly :)
Getting a bite to eat in Southampton NY
Taking a drive away from the Southampton Town I came across a quite small beach which offered a little peace of serenity.
