Maybe Feng Shui doesn't see reality...Maybe Feng Shui sees the possibilities

Explore Manhattan New york City...We're making Something out of Nothing at All....

In Feng Shui we are taught never to have judgment.  In Feng Shui we are taught to always see the possibilities.  We are taught how to cure and correct Feng Shui Principle to always help them support our environment.

Clearly this person has been taught to make no judgments and it's also quite clear that he can see the possibilities of making something out of nothing at all.

Carole, that is really one innovative individual. He doesn't have much, but he's making the best of what he's got.

Umm... Is Feng Shui a religion? I always knew that there were certain elements I liked, and some I disliked, but I never heard of ANY of the "teachings" you mentioned here. Hmm. It always seemed to me that Feng Shui fell somewhere between New Age and Middle Eastern types of beliefs, but I still never thought of it as an actual religion with it's own religious/moralistic teachings.... I'm processing this new information now... lol

Malcom, It's amazing what people can do with so little...it shows anything is possible :)

Maria, He truly is ....great music teacher as well :)

Gloria, He makes his reality work for him and makes great music while doing so

Lisa, Feng Shui is not a religion, it honors all religions and coexists with all beliefs...that is the beauty of Feng Shui :) It is practiced all over the world in different forms, In India it's known as Vastu or Vastu Shastra even the Native Americans incorporate the Principles of Feng Shui into their lifestyle, such as honoring the earth or "Mother Nature"

Fabulous, Carole! Especially significant that the musician is in front of an "I love NY" billboard!

Great stuff. And how appropriate that he's sitting in front of the "I love New York" sign. He must be a musician in a band somewhere, but makes more money on the street than with his band!

Carole:

I remember when I first learned about FS. I was developing and selling residential units at the time. Our models were finished along with the first 4 phases. Imagine my shock when several Asian buyers walked away from these prime units telling me why as they did. I thought I would lose my shirt.........However, while I must have lost about a good 10-15 sales for our grand opening, others who do not respect or follow FS moved forward and we sold out. But, it was a good scare and we took it in for next time........Thank you for this yummy post...

Carole- For the most parts, I like what I see when I enter a room or home that has applied the decorative principles of Feng Shui. But it seems like there's always one little thing that doesn't feel quite right. I'm sure it's just my personal tastes. And like I said, for the most part, I like what I see. And let's face it. Most of our listings could use some help! I'll take any help I can get, if it will get mine sold!  =)

Carole, I would suspect that Feng Shui is similar to another of my beliefs - That what you perceive to be true, becomes your reality!
