In Feng Shui we always discuss with our clients to never pass up opportunities in their life no matter how large or minute it may seem.  About three years ago Laura Cerrano of Feng Shui Manhattan NY had the once in a life time opportunity to meet Maya Angelou.  At the time she wasn't aware of who Maya Angelou was.

While heading off to the city to meet with this unknown person one day, one of our friends decided not to go last minute and spent the day in MOMA.  The rest of us proceeded to the Upper East side of New York to her beautiful Brownstone apartment.

Entering into her Brownstone NY apartment you felt a presence of knowledge and unconditional love.  We we're taken aback by the colors and decor of her lively, energetic five level New York City apartment.  What a delight. We sat there and had a wonderful lunch and discussion about true Friendships from the heart.  I learned things and thought of things on that very special day that I would never have known. 

 

Remember not to overlook your opportunities in life, they are too rare.  Your days can start off feeling like a ground hog day, but you would never know the possibilities they are opening up to.

Thanks for the great reminder. I love finding opportunity in what appears to be a negative situation. Sometimes we simply have to recognize opportunity.
