Carole, it just makes so much sense that if our surroundings is clutter free, it will make us feel better all around.
Hey Carole!
I recently was revisiting one of your posts and I read about the crystals and how in Feng Shui they're used to clear the mind. And then I remembered that I had one just sitting in a drawer in my home.
So I got some string, found the sunny window, and hung it right up!
I'll let you know the results!
Good tips for Feng Shui spring cleaning Carole. I love a clean office, although mine needs a little help in that department:o))
Carole, Instead of cleaning the windows, I just had them all replaced. Does that count?
Margaret
Hi Carole-
I had no idea that I was short of blue. Will Japanese prints of water subjects do as well?
Sara
Carole ~ I love this list. I especially like # 5 bringing happy people into the home. My big challenge is getting rid of clutter. I am going to start with that one since I am pretty good with the rest.
Carole, I need to schedule time to get things organized and clean, starting with my office. Thanks for the motivation. :)

Hi Carole, Spring cleaning...didn't know that helped with feng shui, once again I learn from you.
I need some Spring cleaning but at home and my office.
Usually every May I take it upon myself to give the home a real good Spring cleaning. I always feel great about it when I am done.
Carole - I love these 5 tips ! Am going to re-read these over and over ! Love the concept and love the idea of iniviting folks in to increase that positive energy in your space !

Hi Carole, always learn something new from you! I clean the windows ever year including the outside.
hi Carole and Laura,
The two of you are always such a positive and loving influence on everyone you cross paths with....I'm thankful for both of you beyond words.
Jo
Carole-I have been doing the that the past few weeks and wow what a difference!
Thanks for the reminder, Carole! My office is messy again after dealing with all the paper work for our taxes! Had to file FIVE returns this year!
Thanks for the extra push Carole. Love your articles on 'the office' since that seems to be where we live most. Carole, we have been under a time crunch lately and 'the office' is showing it!! Cluttering piling up on the desk and our energy is draining! Thanks for the kick, to correct this, will get at it..
Carole: I don't think I've told you lately how much I love your posts. I have done all of the things you mentioned here (one who really can't think straight unless everything is organized and orderly), even cleaned windows inside and out. I love this time of the year when I can actually open up my home office located in my sunroom. It's so cheery and has a view of Lake Blue Ridge. Does so much for my energy level each day. The only thing that is missing is the crystal but guess what, I have one and I'm going right now to find it and hang it in my sunroom! You are the bomb!
Rita, when we clean up, not only does your home look physically lighter, your spirit and sometime emotinally you feel that way too :)
Craig that's so great to hear, hang it up with the intention of clarity..this is for all of us, so that we can get gather more ideas for blogging!
Michelle, work with what you can, even if it's for the time being just your desk, it's something :)
Margaret haha..even better, that's starting very fresh and new :)
Sara, Yes it will, it does not have to be literally a water image, if it has the color blue...it can still represent that element.
Joan, Clutter is always the number one "issue" when it comes to Feng Shui. It is amazing how you can feel after cleaning up, even if it's just a little bit at a time.
Marzena, Anytime is good time, even for a moment :)
Steve, Absolutely I do ;) I think in today's world it is so important to make sure we all have time for fun and good times to share with friends and family.
Sara, it is a wonderful feeling :)
Jim, Celebration at Jim's place! Congradulations on your close and offer
Michael, It's amazing how quick changes can sometimes occur...I'm glad to hear that :)
MIssy, I would encourage you to do both when you have the time. In Feng Shui your home relates to your business...having both cleaned and organize can only improve everything even more
Bill, It is! Also on Thursday Laura cleaned up the yard and the home...and received a contact for a consultation next week :)
Hi Carol, great advice, as always. I have a picture of the beach, Does that count as water? I think I'll need a water fountain. I guess pile of paper don't count as wood either? I do try to clean up my desk every day.
have a great weekend!
Hi Carole..Great Post..I try to keep my desk un-cluttered but find it hard...so I need a wee plant, and a crystal...water ah, well I have photo of a blue whale swimming does that help?
Cheers, I have a refrral for you, I'll forward your link to my Client Linda...who would like a mate.
What a great post, Carole. It's #5 that I have to work on the most. We seem to have sort of shut our home off this winter - mainly because we have so little free time - but it's time to open the doors again to bring in the positive energy of our friends and family. Great tip! Thank you. -- Tanya in Montreal
Carole - Thanks to you, I've cleaned out from under my bed. I actually went to put my slippers under there the other day, thought of you and stopped myself. Now, I'm going to attack my office. Thank you for teaching us about Feng Shui.
