Say What!? Who doesn't like the New York City Ferry rides? Maybe they are not so bad after all. Maybe the world can stand a few more Scully. This magnificent ferry ride called The New York Ferry Way takes you around the Manhattan NYC skyline to view spectacular architectural wonders and historical landmarks.
Not long Long after leaving our lovely Feng Shui consultation on the upper west side of Manhattan in NYC, Laura and I decided to take a quick tour. We began our adventure from the mid-town NY port and traveled our way past the Hudons Miracle site to Down town New York by the Financial district.
New York city Mid-town to Down-town areas
It was such a fun experience for all. We had the choice to sit below or above on the New York Ferry to view the City skyline. I sure wish there was more New York City landscape to go around. From the huge skyscraper to the beautifully designed corporate buildings, architecture and never ending sites of Manhattan New York are what you step into everytime.

Nice pictures Carole. I enjoyed the post.
Hi Carole, this looks like a great way to see the city, and I think it would be the best way to communte to NYC if you lived in certain parts of Long Island or New Jersey. What a view!
Beautiful photos, Carole....
When I come to visit, this is something I would love to do. Visitors really get a feel for the city when viewing the skyline...truly amazing.

Hi Carole...New York City's skyline is always stunning. I love it at night. We took a cruise from West Point down the Hudson and saw the Statue of Liberty and the other sights lit up. Breathtaking!
Kate
There is nothing in the world like the New York skyline. Every time I leave I look back in the cab to get one last look. Thanks for the photos, Carole. I never tire of looking at the view.
Ahh, I'm feeling nostalgic. Great pictures of the NYC skyline. The only ferry I ever had the chance to take up there was the one heading to Staten Island. I think it was a quarter back then. I only took it once. I was a platinum metrocard holder =)
Carole, I remember taking a ferry tour when I visited New York many years ago, I am not sure if it is the same ride, but the view was beautiful. Good post.
Hello Carole and when I was in New York I loved the ferry rides and thanks for the view!
Vegas Bob
Carole..It sure sounds like fun..wish I had taken a ferry ride when I was in NYC ....the skyline is to die for
Carole - Your ferry ride provided great opportunity to photograph some great views. I especially love that second photo! There's no place like New York City!
I love the view of a city from the water and these photos are fantastic, Carole!
Cool pictures Carole. I have never been to NYC, but it is on my bucket list...
Helping you help others live their American dream...
Dan, Thank you. It was a crystal clear day...great for New York City photos.
Bruce, o it is. When Laura and I had a Feng Shui consultation in New Jersey, we took the New York water way, it saved a lot of travel time and we got to see spectacular views on Manhattan NY. This time was more for a pleasure ride.
Jo, That would be so great! You'll be able to experience NYC from a distance and then jump into the "jungle" and get your feet wet...so much fun and so much to do!
Kate, That sounded like it was a great night...probably clear to. The night curses is next on our list of things to do...waiting for that warm weather to come our way :)
Jane, It truly is an amazing site. Even tho we live here, every time entering and exiting we have to look..its just ...amazing, I don't know how else to explain it. :)
Coral, O yes remember those days. They just keep jacking up the prices now..but I'll still pay to visit :)
Rita, Thank you...It could have been a different one. There are couple you can choose from
Vegas Bob, They are great..especially if you can sit on the upper deck!!
Hannha, You can take the Ferry line or a helicopter...I should have taken a photo :)
Myrl, I'm glad you enjoy the photo...and yes it allows you to view New York City from a whole other angle...much more quietly :)
Lisa, Thank you so much...It was such a beutifula, fun day to be out on the Hudson river!
Michael, Absoluty make it out to Manhattan NY..you'll love it!!
Carole taking the ferry to view the New Yok Skyline is a must and is never disappointing. Lovely shots,

I need to come to NY sometime and just walk around the city. A ferry ride would be cool too!
Hi Carole, I love the ferry rides! You can see so much sitting in one spot and no traffic to deal with. What is better than that? Nuttin'! :)
The first time I went to New York City in 1994, I went all over the place on those ferries. Give me a boat or a train, and I'm riding. Planes, not so much, unless the plane is flying me to a boat or train.
Nice pictures! As for the boat ride I get sick as a dog!
