A Feng Shui Bedroom in Great Neck Long Island New York
On a recent Feng Shui Consultation in the lovely North Shore Long Island town of Great Neck New York, Laura Cerrano and I walked into a perfectly appointed Feng Shui Bedroom.
Our clients had requested a Feng Shui Consultation for their home in Great Neck but they were choosing colors before we were able to get there. As Feng Shui Consultants in New York we often do Color Consultations which are included if our Feng Shui Clients are choosing to paint. Our clients wanted Neutral Colors while addressing the fact that their Bedroom was located in their Wealth Area (for which the Accent Color is Purple).
As bedrooms in Feng Shui are Shared Spaces, the colors chosen had to be warm and inviting to both of our clients in their bedroom to promote good health and sleep and still give them all the Elements of a good Feng Shui Bedroom.
Colors and Artwork are wonderful ways to address the Elements of Feng Shui which include: Fire, Wood, Metal, Earth and Water. Fortunately, prior to our actual on site Feng Shui Consultation we were able to spend some time discussing things most important for a bedroom including the need for Balance.

My mother made me a green and purple quilt for my birthday a few years ago. Purple is sounds like a good color!

The balance in this bedroom is simply lovely and the lavendar accent is relaxing; though I admit that I had a giggle with the idea that their bedroom is in their "wealth corner". Now I'm wondering where mine is!

Craig, This was done prior to our arrival. They just needed some guidence and we don't have to be in a space to use Feng Shui.
