The Feng Shui and Design of a Queens New York Business

Laura Cerrano of Feng Shui Manhattan New York City and I were called for a Feng Shui Consultation of an Apartment in Woodside Queens New York. One of the reasons for the Feng Shui Consultation was that my clients had their hearts set on a Store in Queens New York that they felt absolutely CERTAIN would be right for their new Business, Omni Martial Arts.
They had lost the building to someone else. While speaking client we could see the sadness in her eyes....Maria didn't think they'd find another building that would be so ideal. There are many Feng Shui Principles that make perfect sense....and there are some that don't! As New York Feng Shui Consultants one thing we believe is in Miracles....we've seen them!
So we asked Maria and Sensei Julio Rivera to make some "Uncommon Sense" changes in their Apartment in Woodhaven Queens NY. We asked them to "Claim that Space" and gave them specific ways to do it. Julio wasn't very happy with out suggestions but after a while he made the changes and I urged Maria to have him call the Real Estate Agent they had been working with.
Julio was not on board....the place was TAKEN, what was the sense of calling? And surely If it had become available, they would have gotten a call. Maria encouraged him until he picked up the phone one day only to hear from his Realtor "Oh, yes, it IS available---I was going to give you a call." The other occupants had backed out of the deal.
THIS is the "Uncommon" Sense of Feng Shui! Maria and Julio called us to give us the news and Laura Cerrano and I went back to their new building called "Omni Martial Arts" to put Feng Shui and Design Principles in there as well. Gabriela, I'm not sure where Sensei Julio is from....I will ask him when we speak next. We wanted a lot of fire in there to stimulate and motivate.
Cynthia, Most of the mats are grey; they originally wanted grey walls :( We wanted to add Fire and a calming and soothing element as well so yes, you are correct. There is some yellow for health and using some of the colors they already had to fit with their budget.
Jane, We are so happy for them and this wonderful place they have created....I suspect somewhere down the road there may be more to come!
