Carole- We need to get rid of our bedroom mirrors. We still have them even after our feng shui consultant told us to cover them up. It is on the list but is not done yet. Although our prosperity areas of our home are in perfect order:)

As I get older and I have a bit more girth I do not want bedroom mirrors.

I don't have to worry about removing the mirrors in my bedroom, I'm a Realtor so i don't have a reflection.

I love your posts, Carole. The air is filled with the aroma of fine sandalwood incense as I immerse myself in your text. I have polished the mirrors in my bedroom to a scintillating and illuminating sparkle which gives them an almost Zen-like quality.

Carole, I need to work more on my feng shui. Although I am getting better, I have not reached Zen...

I am trying to think of what to write Carole but I am getting bad visuals thinking about what Elite homes wrote:)

Am laughing at Bill's comment.  It is amazing the amount of info one can learn from Feng Shui.  Am always learning something everytime I read your blog Carole !

The only one I have is the mirror on the closet door, lol. Maybe I can put the mirror on the inside of the door instead? I'm doing Feng Shui here and there since your seminar a few weeks ago :)

Carole,

I'm going to pass the mirror article on to Louis....he thought of putting mirrored closet doors in his daughter's bedroom if she comes to live with us.

It's interesting.....we have a mirror in the bedroom but I rarely look in it.  The cats do enjoy admiring themselves though!  I will go check out Kate's post.......

Carole, We were just talking about mirrors and feng shui yesterday!  A friend moved a hat rack with a mirror from her foyer to a guest bedroom.  Then she wondered how that all fit in with feng shui.

Katerina, I would do it before the Chinese New Year.  I have one in my closet behind the door.

Elite, That's funny!  Most people do like Mirrors in their bedrooms but we don't advise them for many reasons.

Ray, I'm sure your reflection is jus fine....outside of the bedroom :)

David, It sounds like they look absolutely beautiful!

Michael.  At least the Shui has returned....I remember it had run off for a while.

Bill, What Elite wrote might just be a PERFECT example of why we don't want mirrors in the bedroom!!

Chris & Stephanie, I'm laughing myself.  There are some wonderful senses of humor on AR and they're migrating here...how nice!

Jackie, I'm glad you're doing Feng Shui over there!  I didn't tell you Laura and I got a wonderful (and very large) speaking engagement from it!  :)

Jo, Absolutely NOT.  Do not let him do that......Depending on what and where the mirror faces it could be a very bad idea.

Kate, You wrote a wonderful article....and it's SO nice to have other Feng Shui practitioners on Activerain.

Ann, I hope you enjoyed Kate's post.  There are some mirror placements in the bedroom that are not bad but they are more of the exception...when in doubt, keep them down.

Susan, See what the mirror is reflecting.  Whatever it is reflecting it is intensifying the energy of.  If it's the outside, it might be lovely.

From the desk of David Dee,

Carole, I usually don't like mirrors in bedrooms. Looking at ourselves first thing in the morning can be FRIGHTENING as some realtors may not recognize themselves from the picture...uhhhem...shown on the business cards! :D

No mirrors in the bedroom is something that we did when we moved into our new apartment.

Carole: I just got a Google Alert for this post. Sorry I didn't see it sooner to thank you and to comment. Thank you for including me in your post and for the Link Love. You are a kind and generous person. I wish we lived closer so we could meet up for some tea.

You're the Feng Shui expert...I'm just a dabbler:o))

Happy Chinese New Year, my friend.
