Seaford Long Island New York is a lovely little town on the South Shore. Its surrounding towns include Massapequa NY and Wantagh Long Island which includes our beautiful Jones Beach.

Part of the Seaford NY homes rest on lovely little canals while some are further North. It was in this Long Island town of Seaford that I had written about this Long Island Feng Shui Consultation for their home.
They were facing the threat of foreclosure and called Feng Shui Long Island & NY in for a full Feng Shui Consultation. It's sad to see lovely Long Island facing foreclosures and the last thing I thought I would see here on this beautiful Island. But they hit and hit hard and sadly, continue to hit. This Long Island couple wanted two things from their Feng Shui Consultation. They wanted desperately to save their home and my Feng Shui client wanted better health so he could return to work. He was a prominent and proud man who would not accept any offers of help but he believes in Feng Shui.

I had heard from this couple on and off for a while and then the calls stopped coming. I feared the worst, that they had lost their lovely home in Seaford to a foreclosure. Finally, I picked up the phone to call. His wife answered and was delighted to hear from me. They are working now with a loan modification and her husband had healed AND returned to the job they were holding open for him!

I couldn't have been happier to hear such wonderful news. "Feng Shui Works" my client said although she mentioned there was still some tight budgeting ahead. The Feng Shui Cures and suggestions I gave my client were not expensive OR difficult at all. They were all very simple and low to no cost things to change the Energy in their Seaford NY Home and could have easily been accomplished in a week.
Curiously, I asked her if she'd made all the recommendations. She told me no, she hadn't---she said she'd done about HALF of the Feng Shui Advice we had given her. She didn't give me a reason but I couldn't help but wonder: What would have happened in their lives if they had taken ALL the suggestions?
If your Feng Shui Consultant in New York (or any place else) makes suggestions, they will always give you a reason behind it. They should fit with your Décor and your budget and you should make ALL the recommendations. Working with HALF of Feng Shui suggestions will only get you half of what you are seeking to achieve.
It's been too long to re-advise my Seaford Long Island Feng Shui Client. How I would have LOVED to hear the results if they'd taken all the suggestions!

I have to admit that I haven't been out in that direction too often, I've gone to Jones Beach a number of times but haven't spent a lot of time in the surronding neigborhoods. Its great to hear a success story and that these people are doing well and they took to heart some of the feng shui principles you presented them, sometimes a little is better than nothing at all.
Sounds like a nice place. I hope they do get their happy ending and with time, implement all of your suggestions. I'd love to have you come here to my home. I'm sure I would feel more content if I had someone who could tell me what I'm doing right and wrong.
I need help! My feng has shui'ed and it can't get up! Seriously, I have been working to de-clutter but there is no-one in my area that knows diddly about feng shui. Any good books or suggestions?

Oh Carole - that is wonderful but you are right.....what would have happened had they used ALL your suggestions! Thanks for sharing that inspiring story - it just goes to show that if you have part of your life out of balance (physical, mental and surrounds) that all aspects of your life will be affected.

Marchel, I know....believe me, I know. NOTHING is difficult or expensive (and some are no cost at all) but people seem to be motivated and then just stop. I'm not sure why that is because they can already feel a shift.

Morgan, I love our little Long Island towns. They are all unique in their own way and there is something special about each town.
Susan, I do consults online but there are so many levels to Feng Shui it's difficult to do it on your own. There's so much to learn and I'm still learning every day.
Michael, Don't let your SHUI get AWAY!! Run, do not walk, to buy Karen Kingston's "Clear Your Clutter with Feng Shui." You can understand her books and they are not overwhelming. Then you'll get to keep your Feng AND your Shui (Wind and Water!!)
Leesa, It does show that things were not in balance and I also can't help but think that a blessing done prior to moving in might just have avoided the accident.....It's one of the most important times to Feng Shui!

Jackie, It's interesting but some people don't believe in it until after the consultation. They are the ones that sit sulking through the consult and then can't believe the results! I love seeing a non believer turn into a complete believer!

I am currently working on a house for sale, that the owner has followed some Feng Shui principles, but not all. The front and back door are in alignment, so there is a windchime, and a large crystal...but lots of clutter. The master bedroom has some beautiful peacock feathers, but also a large ceremonial sword hanging on the wall. The home has been on the market for over a year, and the owner has decided it is time to bring in some help! Respecting the privacy of the owner, I will wait until it is sold to post the "before" pictures, but I expect to get a few really good posts out of the photos!
