All You Need is Love--And a Little Bit of Feng Shui in New York City

All you need is Love --  And a Little Bit of Feng Shui in New York City

Every season in New York City is special and unique.  The winter holds it's charms with Ice Skating, Fall is spectacular for the beautiful Autumn Colors, Spring makes you look ahead and see only Sunshine in your future.  Summer in Central Park for me is the BEST time.

Long, LONG walks where you can choose the usual paths or ones not travelled very often. No matter what time of year you go, Love is always in the Air.

I loved this photo.  It was taken just outside the famous Boathouse Restaurant in New York City....a destination in itself.  It reminds me somehow of another era.....

Love in Central Park New York City by Feng Shui NY Consultant Laura Cerrano

Is it Feng Shui in New York City?  Or Love?  Maybe just a bit of both.

Carole - There is a painting from the Victorian era that very much reminds me of this photo.  I'm with you, I love this picture!  And the Boat House Restaurant is one of those places I would like to visit one day!  Central Park has so many wonderful places to explore.

Hi Carole.  It is a beautiful shot.  It could almost be Jane Seymour in Somewhere in Time.

Hi Carole, That is a very neat timeless photo, neither old nor new, just timeless. I expect everyone could identify  with this, young and old.

Hi Carole.  I agree with everyone on the beauty of the picture.  Is this one of the ponds they allow ice skating on when weather permits, or is it a prepared rink?

Hi Carole-What a magical photo. Very tranquil and restful. It makes me think of summer and all things warm and wonderful. Have a great week my friend. <SMILE>

Is it Rockefeller Center that has ice skating in the winter?   Your city has so much to offer.  One day I'll get there...:-)

Hi Carole, your photo you posted is indeed timeless as William stated. The pose is the same just the fashions change, it's quite a calming setting.

Myrl, My daughter said the same thing, the picture she took reminds her of a famous painting but can not think of the name.  You absolutely should, especially in mid to later spring and summer time.

Deena, Small rain drops did fall that day, but it was not enough to "undo" the mood of love.  That umbrella seems makes it even more romantic :)

Teri,  It is almost is like a scene from a movie as well.  Maybe next spring I'll be on that boat :)

Sharon W, Interesting, I have to look up that movie and see if I can find that scene.

William, I agree, this photo..from many of the comments written, identify wit many different people and from different views, either from movies, paintings or personal.

Bruce, I think they do section off an area, but I am not exactly sure where.

Sharon L, The day was very nice outside.  Couples were every where, love was in the air :)

Tula, I know, summer needs to come back fast! I am not a fan of the Winter.

Kris, Yes it is! There is never a dual moment in New York City :) Around every corner is something new and exciting.

Paddy, Your very welcome, I'm glad you enjoyed the image :)

Jackie, Many others feel the same way about this photo.  "Timeless," it can fit with just about any time period.

It's Romantic.... I love romance and am into rowing in a boat with the one i love... can easily picture myself in it!  What fantasies we have unfilfilled in our minds that pictures like this pull upon!

Also reminds me of Notebook... the movie... did you see it?   Watched it, cried, watched it again, cried again.... thinking about it takes me away.... Thanks Carole for bringing out the girl in me!

That looks like it could have been a Monet painting, or some other romantic artist. Too bad you didn't know who those people were. I'm sure they would love that picture.
