There IS nothing nicer then getting a call or email from anyone you are working with to thank you and let you know that what you did helped them. It's even nicer when it's from an Activerain Realtorwho had found me and contacted me about Feng Shui. I am not going to reveal who this person is, that would be entirely up to them but I did get a contact from Activerain from someone who had stumbled on one of my posts on Feng Shui and we spoke on the phone.
She had already taken Suzee Miller's online course on Feng Shui and she is also a home stager. But it was her home she was most interested in selling and despite the changes she had made, nothing had worked. She contacted me for some thoughts and ideas and I wanted to help her. I can't comment on Suzee's Miller's course because I have never seen it so I don't know what it entails. I do know that it's very expensive and did not charge her because she had already paid for a course.
My first question to her was if the Blessings were included. Since I believe so much in them I was curious to know and she replied that they weren't. Since they are considered "sacred" because they are so old, I made the unusual decision to work with her and include the blessings. We spoke on the phone, I received emails and, more importantly pictures and we worked together to change some things in her home that had already been changed. There was nothing difficult or expensive that needed to be done, just some things I felt were out of balance.
I got a phone call within two weeks and while she didn't yet sell HER house, she sold one of her listings! Which she had blessed. She had not expected to sell this because it was only on the market less then two months but a deal was reached and we were both thrilled. We have spoken and emailed back and forth and while she found a neighborhood she liked, she had not found a HOME she LOVED. I felt that it was key to selling HER home and then she walked into one and, you guessed it, fell in love! She was home. She wrote to tell me she'd found a home that she finally loved and was worried about making an offer on it without her home being sold. And on that I won't advise. If her home did NOT sell, that would be a big financial risk.....I left it to her to make the decision.
And today I got my "happy email." The first four words? "I SOLD my home." The inspector is coming tomorrow and she will put in an offer for a new, loved home! I am thrilled for her (as she knew I would be!) and am waiting to hear whether her inspection AND her offer go through.
It would be nice hearing it from her and maybe someday you will....but perhaps she is just not comfortable posting anything because of the controversy on whether Feng Shui WORKS. It does---learn even some of it, put it into use and you'll also be helping your clients as well as yourself! Another happy Activerain story.

Carole, thank you for this beautiful story first thing this morning. Your posts are filled with so much that is positive and truly wondrous about the world around us. Thank you.
Jo
Hi Carole,
Well, first of all, you appear to be gaining many AR fans - I am glad to see that people are realizing the value in what you do!
This story is a wonderful testimony to the powers of Feng Shui....I have seen the results in my own life, and I am so happy for this realtor AND for you!
VAL
Carole those are the best words you can hear from a client, and not only are we excited that our work, worked but I know that you too are actually thrilled for them as well.

Jo, thank you for the lovely comment, I truly miss your posts! I hope to be able to read one again soon!
Lizette, thank you, I was thrilled to hear it. She was my very first AR contact from a Realtor on here and had taken the online course. The money from the listing that got sold held out just fine until her home sold, when she found a home she LOVED. Did I mention I love happy endings?
Val, thank you! I have seen your business take off and you know I'm thrilled for you....we still need that ONE play day to the City we spoke of when we knew you were going to get busy :) And think we'd better plan it soon!
Hi Joan, funny you asked, I got a call tonight from someone considering to fly me to California for a business...I almost said no and then I realized I would get to meet Sheron in person! Funny because Feng Shui was on the West Coast long before it got here, I don't know how she found me....But I do phone consultations for clients at a distance --- and they work well! Have a lovely day and thanks for the comment.
Phyllis, you're so right, I DO get thrilled for them. It's like one of your staged homes sells, you feel so good :) And I know they know how happy I am for them! Thanks for your comment.
Thankd you very much for sharing, are there any books you would recommend as must have for a personal library?
Carole,
I have read every post that you've provided, gleaning lots of information about Feng Shui.
Since I "met" you, I've:
The result? Lots of new business! I, too, have considered that course that you mentioned because she has so many testimonials that all say 'as soon as the Agent applied the feng shui principles, the house sold!' It has made me so curious to know ~ what is it that one could learn that can do so much good for clients?
I don't know and honestly, I'm afraid to plunk down that much money. I've spent thousands of dollars on educational material as well as seminars and not all of it is really worth it.
So, I'm taking Carole's online course - where should I send my $$$$?! :)
Shane, thank you for the comment. The best book I can recommend is "Feng Shui Made Easy"by William Spear. He is able to give many of the principles of Feng Shui while incorporating methods so people don't have to renovate a home if it doesn't have some good Feng Shui aspects. I'm sorry that he doesn't teach anymore, he was a phenominal teacher.
Melissa, I am SO glad you're applying Feng Shui and it's working! We always start with decluttering to make room for new energy (all this makes sense:). And I love rearranging furniture, it unblocks energy and opens a space up making it feel better. I think that real estate agents that know what clients are looking for and can easily create that "feeling" in a listing is an invaluable edge. Because we know homes aren't just houses....they're a reflection of you! And I LOVE those emails! You're welcome to contact me to just talk, I would love to hear more in depth about what you've done :)
