Feng Shui in Provincetown and Cape Cod

Feng Shui in Provincetown & Cape Cod

Sometimes it's not the journey, sometimes it truly is the destination.  For two New York Feng Shui Consultants Provincetown brought some insights that we wouldn't have seen.

The Café Edwige, our first stop that day shows you that this incredible restaurant truly has excellent Feng Shui Principles.

The color Red is the Auspicious color in Feng Shui and stimulates the appetite.  Fresh, lush plants enliven the place with new Energy and can be a symbol for Wealth in ALL areas.

You can see the beautiful Wood Carvings and wide open windows to "Let the Outside IN."

Dining is a true experience with innovative creations of food.  Laura and I both chose Lobster Benedict (this is breakfast!).  Truly the best meal we'd had on the entire trip (or since!).

We did some shopping and took a trolley car around PTown.  It is one beautiful place on Cape CodBeautiful old buildings and some beautiful protected land now grace some areas of Provincetown.

Walking back through town we met and spoke with business owners and locals.  Over and over we heard about the interest in Feng Shui there; Laura and I KNEW we'd be coming back next year and there was an interest in Feng Shui Consultations for both their Homes and Businesses.

I remembered a teacher telling me many years ago to find a profession I loved and connect it to another passion of mine.  My other passion has always been traveling.

Combining two loves, Feng Shui and Traveling, Laura and I will be providing Feng Shui Consultations on Cape Cod and in Provincetown during specific times next Spring and Summer.

Just MAYBE we were meant to go.  From the rainbow to the butterfly something was surely pulling us up there.  This time it was the destination; next time it will again be the Journey.

Oh, and in case you didn't know:  This is a picture taken from our Motel.  It shows the Monument in Provincetown where the Mayflower Pilgrims originally landed.  They did not land in Plymouth, MA, they landed in ProvincetownIt really is time to change the History Books : )

Carole, How fun!  I love to travel also but for me it is just taking the laptop along and trying to stay up with my business back home.  It is great that you are able to combine the two.

Hi Carole... it sounds like all of the pieces of the puzzle are coming together for you!  And BTW, the lobster beneict looks AMAZING!  Yum!

Hi Carol, One of the words you used in your description of the color in the restaurant is one of my favorites. Auspicious. One of the concepts associated with this word has so much to do with Feng Shui and its positive application. Good Luck and Prosperity. We should all embrace those things that can benefit our clients in their relationship with their new surroundings, especially in the selection of those surroundings and the possible modifications . Love the trip photos and especially your take on the Feng Shui elements you observed and their import. Wonderful and pleasurable photopost to read Carole.

The journey and the destination and remarkable.  I am so happy that this has been such an incredible experience for you and Laura.  Those signs cleary were there... and this series certainly reminds us to pay attention to those signs so we can take the necessary journey to reach our final destinations.

I really enjoy reading your stories Carole.  I did look up the location of Provincetown as a result of reading  your previous blogs, and now I see why your brother chose to stay there.  Could a future home be in making for Laura and you in the future.  You never know!  Thanks for sharing the great pictures with your narrative.

I enjoyed the history lesson as well!!!!!!!!  Thanks!  (and now I am off to the fridge for a midnight snack-that lobster benedict looked GREAT!!!!!!!)

Carole, that looks like a might fine breakfast ... the only thing that seems better than that, is the scenery.   I can just picture myself sitting there, on a rock, staring out to sea ... (sigh)

You and Greg from Newfoundland, are killing me with your 'tour guides'. :)

Looks like a beautiful town and wonderful vacation.  Thanks for showing us how Feng shui affects that restaurant.  Travelling is also one of my hobbies- but I look at the real estate market and houses every where I go.

As always, I learn so much from your posts Carole.

When showing homes, so many of my people ask, "Why are all the dining room painted red?" I knew the reasson why, but now everyone else does too as a result of your blog!

Well done, Carole!

Carole, This looks like a wonderful place to eat. My mouth is still watering over the Lobster Benedict you had for breakfast!  I am definitely going to have to include Cape Cod on my list of places to see.

Carole - looks like an amazing trip and what a great opportunity to spend time with your daughter! I love the restaurant photos and the Feng Shui information about the red walls and the plants - I have several plants and have been debating about whether I should keep them or not - I think I will after this post :)

Hi Carole,  this was so beautifully written.  You became our eyes, ears and taste buds the way you presented it.... It was as if WE were there!  You have whetted appetites of many, i'm sure with this!  We all want to go now!

Carrie-Lynn, You might like the group that's on AR, Feng Shui for Real Estate.  It is a facinating study, I hope you enjoyed your classes.

Marchel, It was an unexpected surprise.  We'll see what happens with it next year.

Gary, I imagine everyone would have so much fun there--we loved it!

Steve,  That meal was amazing.  I don't think we really put the pieces together until we returned but it was like a puzzle.

William, Thank you so much for your lovely comment.  Feng Shui is my life long study and it never will end but it's always facinating to me to see how others put it together and begin to prosper in their lives in all different areas.  The depths of Feng Shui continue to amaze me to this day.

Joan, They were there, it just took a while to see them.  It showed possibilities that I never would have thought of that I believe we're going to love.

Bruce, It's a very special place on the tip of Cape Cod.  I'd love it most of the year but the winters there can be brutal....it's why the Pilgrims left after their first winter and went to Plymouth :)  Unexpected "doors" were opened there.

Fred, It may just become that at least for a few weeks!

Bill, We had a wonderful time.  I am surprised at the turns this journey took.

Sylvie, Might I remind you that I saw every one of your and Liz's gorgeous posts?  You had some spectacular places I will want to come and visit too!

Craig, Red tablecloths.  You see them all the time.  To stimulate the appetite and energize the space.  It's a wonderful color for restaurants.

Sandy, It is so much fun, you will love it.  If you stay in the neighboring town of Truro they have private beaches and a bus that takes you right into Provincetown.

Kevin & Monica, Keep those plants :)  I lost some of mine when my house was undergoing it's transformation and am still replacing them.

Jo, I think we are going to love it and have a chance to combine things we love to do.  We'll be able to meet even more people and I think we  have some journies ahead of us that we would have never forseen.

Caron's Gateway, Thank you.  I loved taking these photos and sharing them with everyone on AR.

Grace, I have never seen it before--or heard of it.  I can't tell you how GOOD it was!  We are still talking about it.

Diana, I hope you do get to go.  It's a place that's unlike any other and you'll love it.  And don't forget this meal at Cafe Edwige :)

Jennifer, I would love to see your Cape Cod photos...I'm sure they are beautiful!  I took more then I showed as well but it's impossible to post all of them!

Gabriela, It's a meal you will never forget, I promise!  And you'll notice all the Feng Shui Elements in the restaurant.
