Feng Shui Long Island Consultants in New York--What Makes New York City SO Special?

Feng Shui Long Island Consultants in New York...What Makes New York City SO Special?

Feng Shui Consultations on Long Island and Feng Shui Consultations in New York City can be VERY different.  The Energy of both places, although not that far apart from each other, is completely different.

Both Laura and I grew up on Long Island and have always loved it.  Still, there is a special quality about New York City that is difficult to beat.  It is Energy Intensified in New York City while you can still find places of Solitude to relax and restore in Central Park.

We had just completed a Feng Shui Consultation for a new business right on 5th Avenue on the top floor.  Walking outside on the Balcony, the view facing the building was Trump Tower.  From the side view you could see St. Patrick's Cathedral.  We considered them Auspicious Views but had many suggestions for the new owners.

The prior business had gone under.  Inside this spectacular building, there was no LIFE.  Everything was white and it was devoid of all Color.  The Five Elements were not addressed. We had many recommendations for them including Artwork, placement of desks and the best place for the Conference Room as important decisions would be made in there.

Space Clearings to clear out any former Energy were done as well as Blessings as requested by the owners.

*The owner wished privacy so there are no pictures.

When we left, it had warmed up.  It was one of those last days of Summer with beautiful weather and being close to Central Park, we decided on a walk through part of it and then to have lunch.

We were delayed.  A crowd was starting to form and we wondered why.  There is ALWAYS something going on in New York City and  if you're VERY fortunate, you'll be in just the right place at the right time.

It was a photo shoot.  A Model was outside posing for a hair commercial.  In between the shots, they teased, sprayed, fluffed and shook her hair.  I'm SURE she went home with a headache...and at least a full can of hairspray in her hair.

NYC by Feng Shui New York Consultants This is hard work!

Only in New York City do we catch these "sights."  Helpful hint:  For those that have never been to Manhattan, find your most comfortable pair of sneakers....this is a Walking Town and you won't want to miss a thing :)

How fun Carole! It's always fun to spot something exciting that you wouldn't normally get to see. :)

Such fun to walk around and see things like that going on.

Carole, I was watching a food tv show yesterday, on a chef who lives in Long Island with his wife and daughter. He is the chef at ESCA restaurant; and he goes fishing every day, and cooks the fish he catches.  He was going on about Long Island, and we caught many glimpses of it, especially the ocean.  I have no idea what he was saying.  I was watching the ocean. :)

I want to visit New York City one day, but I won't leave there without visiting Long Island.

Hi Carole... these are exactly the vignettes I miss the most about NYC.  For some reason they have added impact from their surroundings in "The City" that never seems the same in Dallas!

Hi, Carole:

Well, it is beautiful hair! Don't know about the jacket.

It's a shame you couldn't get photos of your consultation. Maybe some after shots would be allowed? That would be great.

Cheers,

Robin

Kevin & Monica, There is always something going on...you just never know what you'll run into on a particular day.

Annie, It was, it was fun.  When we see a crowd gathering we know something is going on.

Carolin, You can never tell here but something always pops up.  It's just fun to people-watch actually.

Sylvie, If they'd stop building on Long Island it would retain it's charm.  It is beautiful here (which is why we pay these taxes!) but the building never stops.  It's going to loose it's charm.

Steve, I would miss them too if I moved.  There is ALWAYS something going on in NYC!

Robin, Many of my clients want privacy and I respect that.  Most businesses feel the Feng Shui gives them an edge over competitors so they don't like to be shown.

Sharon, Anytime you'd like to come I'll be your tour guide.  You will love it, there's always something fun to do!

Thanks for sharing - I'll look for this commercial/ad :)

Carole, you always find the coolest things going on in NYC. Thanks!

With respect to the feng shui difference, I'm wondering how the vastly different energy levels impact your job- is the emphasis in the city to sort of quiet down the space, or feed on the energy?

Carole:  I never fail to feel the energy of New York City through your posts.  I always feel like I'm actually there.

Carole, I have been to New York before, but have never been to Manhattan. I would love to visit there someday.  Looks like an exciting place to be.

What an exciting place to live!  It must also be hard to deal with all that stuff going on all the time.  Too many choices!

Carole congratulations on your consultation. I'm sure their business will have a lot of success! Big cities like NY in my opinion are good for visiting and not for living. I'm not a city girl lol

Colleen, That's too cute. She just may have found a great reason to visit New York City--one you can't argue with :)

Grace, I have no idea where it will appear but it was certainly fun to watch.

Laurie, Interesting question.  We seek to balance the Energy in any space through different methods.  In particular issues people have we might want to "get them moving" while others might have blockages and aren't able to move up.  So the goal is what the client wants to focus on while keeping a balance in their space.

Donna, I wish you were here.  I don't know exactly how to explain what it feels like here but I can say it's different from any other City I've ever visited.

Sandy, You're saving the best for last when you come to Manhattan.  Lots of places in New York are great but Manhattan is just incredible!

Georgina, That's part of what makes it so much fun!  If you love a place you can go back or always try something new.  There is so much to choose from.

Gabriela, I have no doubt that business will thrive.  Now there was no energy so they had some work to do but I know they are taking the suggestions.  As for the city, I'm the opposite.  I love visits to the Country but I'm much more of a City person.

Cynthia, It must have taken her HOURS to get all that spray out.  That is hard work....I couldn't believe it!

Visit New York City.... she picked up & moved there! She runs the bar in the new Capital Grille on Wall St. If you happen to pop in, ask for Danielle!

I can also say that it's a great rail town. Ride the subway anywhere and everywhere!
