Feng Shui Apartment in Queens New York

Feng Shui Apartment in Queens New York

I have been providing Feng Shui Consultations in Queens NY for many years now.  While not that far from Long Island New York, it's almost as if you're in another land.  Queens New York is SO diverse in every area that you go to.  This most recent Feng Shui Consultation took me to Springfield Gardens in Queens NY.

The Queens NY Apartments didn't appear nearly as lovely from the outside as they were once you stepped inside.  They were open and filled with light, something that is sometimes in short supply in apartments whether they are in Queens or New York City.

Many of my Feng Shui Clients are already well versed in Feng Shui from books they have read or courses they have taken but they still feel they need an expert in the field.  This lovely Feng Shui Client was making some major life adjustments and we helped her to create the Area of HELPFUL PEOPLE to give her added support during this time.

Her bedroom, a ‘sacred space' was another room where we made many adjustments and did a complete re-design of the space.  The rest of the apartment had very good Feng Shui, particularly her use of The Five Elements we use in Feng Shui.  She had addressed them through the colors.

The Five Elements of Feng Shui are:  Water, Earth, Wood, Fire and Metal.  We feel a balance of the Five Elements to be an important aspect of Feng Shui.  She'd also read about the properties of crystals.  She'd decided to MAKE this gorgeous chandelier on her own and she told me she'd gone to a lighting store and the Crystals were very inexpensive.

I wonder if the Queens Apartment Complex had Feng Shui in mind....Water graces people (and Energy) into a space:

Carole - I really like that crystal light fixture.  It's very unique, and seems it would go well in that apartment.  I love those wood floors too!

The floors, the artwork, the sofas - the colours are all very warm.
I love that light fixture too.  And it's so much more special, because she made it herself.
Seems as if you're busy doing what you love, Carole.  That's great. :)

A few Christmases back my daughter gave me some beautiful crystal tree ornaments. I thought, my goodness, they would be perfect to hang on my dining room chandalier so I did. The light that they  attract is so warm and inviting and has spread good energy throughout. It is not as intricate as the one pictured but still, to me, just as beautiful.

Hi Carole!

Those colors are great together in the living area!  Paintings, flooring, pillows, and seating all tie in together so well.  The fountain and cobblestones are great as well.  Have you ever done anything on the exterior of a property, Carole?  Is there such a thing as Feng Shui landscaping?(pardon my ignorance, but I don't know).  Thanks.

I love coming over here to see the beautiful work you do. It makes me feel so relaxed. Can Feng Shui come through the computer via pictures?

I bet there are some really cool looking apartments in the city. The hardwoods in this one look terrific!

Oh my - that apartment is just beautiful and I love how all of the Feng Shui elements have been incorporated.  Very inviting space for sure!  Like everyone - that chandelier is to die for!

Love that light fixture with the crystals.  So unique.  Those wood floors are awesome.

That is one very unusually beautiful light fixture!  Your client could probably make some extra money designing and making one of a kind lighting fixtures!  It's not really my style, but it does hold an odd attraction for me.

The apartment itself is stunning!  Just goes to show ya .... you can't judge an apartment by the front steps!

OK, that's one great place! And, like everyone else, I love the light fixture.

Great job lining up work for the winter months!

Beautiful photos and love the chandelier - I collect Crystal :)

Myrle, Yes what she created was so great.  It took her a bit of time but the result is wonderful!  The finish on the wood floor was a really nice touch.

Sylvie, It was a very warm feeling walking into the space and the light coming from the windows warmed it up as well.

Martha, Simple can be just as beautiful.  It sounds like a wonderful gift your daughter gave you :)

Bruce, Yes you can most diffidently incorporate Feng Shui principles into landscaping.  I have suggested ideas for where to place small outdoor water falls or statues. Feng Shui can collaborate with so many different areas.

Joan, Thank you.  Crystals can help with a variety of situations, this is a great way of using them :)

Melinda, Thanks, the design of the chandelier is great, I couldn't get over how beautiful it looked..especially when the light shined through it!

Russel, Maybe that is another area of Feng Shui I can touch upon :) I'm glad you enjoy the work and it relaxes you.

Bill, There are some pretty great apartments...and the view from them are even better :)

Leesa, Entering in, I felt very comfortable...as if I've been there before.  That chandelier is one of my favorite parts of the apartment...it adds flare :)

Kim, The wood floors seem to be a hit! The light color stain diffidently helped with keeping a "light" feeling to the apartment.  The chandelier added character.

Carol, That chandelier does have its own uniqueness :)  My daughter went to Harlem to visit a friend and from the out side her friend's apartment didn't have that old warn down look. Inside she said it was a whole other world... absolutely beautiful! and very spacious.

Craig, Outside they have a pool, mini garden/fountain area. It felt very relaxing in that space :)

Hannah, Thank you I appreciate that.  Her apartment is a beautiful space.

Sandy, The Entrance into the space felt very welcoming. I felt like walking in and sitting down in the living room :)

Grace, Believe me I'm in no rush for winter to come.  If you collect enough you can make your very own chandelier as well ;)

What luminosity from the floors and of course, that is one gorgeous light fixture. How do you know when you have too much sparkle or light?

I love that crystal light, but I'm especially enamored by moving water -- water falls, rivers and streams, water fountains....
