New York City Skyscraper -- Always a Sight! by a New York Feng Shui Consultant

New York City.  People say you either LOVE it or you hate it and I've always found that to be true.

As a New York City Feng Shui Consultant, I find myself all over:  Uptown, Downtown and in some very special places I had not before heard about such as Tudor City New York.  A beautiful city within a City.

I remember speaking to a man in Paris who wanted to visit New York City as much as I'd wanted to visit HIS beautiful city.  He spoke about the Skyscrapers and said he'd flown over them once but had not been able to make it to New York.

I hope we miss the Beauty of New York City....it's all around us!  This picture was taken Uptown after coming out of a Feng Shui Consultation on 5th Avenue.

Carole, I personally love the skyscrapers in Manhattan. And standing at ground level looking up the edge is awesome....

That's looking a lot like the Grace building near Bryant Park.

If that's the one, I've always loved the architecture of that building.

Great photo Carole!

Carole  - the skyscrapers are landmarks... and they make New York New York... (sound like a song).  I like the reflection of the clouds in the photo.  Very nice.

Gary, They are SO tall it's unbelievable....and can really hurt your neck trying to get these shots :)

Pat, Thank you...I love New York City!

Craig, No, it's uptown near the park....but I don't know the name.  I pass it often, I'll look it up next time.

Joan, I did too.  And now I'll be singing all day :)  --  Great song.

It is defintely time for a trip!  You won't believe the changes in the last 10 years....the City is much safer and midtown is completely different.

Hannah, I love them too.  I hear they renamed the Sears Tower...I'm going to have to look that up!

Carol - beautiful photograph! I love skyscrapers - we don't have any in Montana so I have to get my fix when I visit places. Thanks for posting :)

What a great photo!  There is reason to marvel at these structures ... who ever thought that we would live in a vertical world?

Cool photo, Carole! It looks like you had a beautiful day in the Big Apple.

Cheers,

Carole, I've had foreign students at my house over the last few months, and I've encouraged them to take the New York trip through the school - since it's very affordable.  They all have, and they have all loved it.  I have to take my own advice one of these days. :) (after I get that passport)

Kevin & Monica, When I come home from the City my neck usually hurts--from looking UP all day.  They are quite a sight.

Carol, How very true....they need to get every square inch in New York.  But the Skyscrapers are always a sight.

Robin, It was one of those picture perfect days in New York.  They're becoming rare unfortunately!

Sylvie, Could you get the passport already?  I have mine, I'll follow you home and see Canada after you see New York.

Tami, I know people either love New York City or hate it....I happen to love it there and the Skyscrapers are always magnificent.

Donna, It's true.  Some people think it's just too crowded.  To me, that's part of the fun (usually :)

Missy, Thank you.  They are difficult to capture.

Teri, I am in and out of the City.  And very fortunate that the train is so close!

Chris, Call me if you'll be in New York!  You will LOVE it.  I don't think there's any other place like it.

Grace, Whan is that anniversary of yours?  It's time to come back soon I believe :)

Hi Sharon, I look forward to your visit---and will be more then happy to give you the tour :)

Russel, I don't get enough of it either, honestly.  The Spring and Summer are my favorite times there and then again when the leaves are changing in the Park.

That building looks like it curves. Is that just an optical illusion? Quite a beautiful illusion if it is.
