Designing A New York Corporation with Feng Shui: Feng Shui the Series Pt. 5 by Feng Shui Long Island & New York

Designing a New York Corporation with Feng ShuiFeng Shui the Series Pt. 5

As a New York based Feng Shui Consultant it is not unusual to be called in to evaluate Corporations.  Designing a Corporation with Feng Shui principles is very different then designing a home with Feng Shui.

In Business Feng Shui we check the layout and the "Power Points" when choosing rooms that certain people should occupy.  We do this to ensure success with the new Corporation and to make sure Business will keep growing.

Using the Bagua we check the general layout of the Business.  We look for the Wealth Area in the back left hand corner and decide which employees to place there.  We also look for the Relationship area in a Corporation which is the back right hand corner in Feng Shui.

In this particular New York Corporation my client had marked off where he thought he'd like certain people to occupy.  Here's what we did for this New York Feng Shui Corporation in New York, NY:

As soon as you arrive you are greeted by the Reception Area directly in Front.  We allowed space on both sides to enter the space and not block Energy.  It also creates a Balance in Feng Shui.

Business Feng Shui NYC by Feng Shui New York Consultant Carole ProvenzaleThere is a room and a doorway on the Right for the Executive Manager to occupy.  In the Center, The HEART of this New York Corporation we have open area desks for employees.   The first window on the Right Side is for the Conference Area.

New York Feng Shui Corporation by NYC Feng Shui Consultant Carole ProvenzaleThe Back Right Hand Side is where we choose for the Marketing Area, crucial in any Business or Corporation.  In a Feng Shui Bagua this is the area for RELATIONSHIPS.  There will be two employees working in this area, supporting each other and the Business.

The layout of Furniture in Feng Shui Rooms is crucial.  While my Feng Shui Client initially wanted these employees to face each other, I suggested "equal" footing by putting both desks side by side.  They are not facing each other "head on" but now complimenting each other by being equals.

Feng Shui Corporation NYC by Feng Shui New York Consultant Carole ProvenzaleThe Back Left Hand Side is WEALTH in Feng Shui.  Although we changed the initial furniture placement, this room is now designated for those taking orders for the Corporation.  We left enough space to keep it open and room to add more employees as needed.

The purchasing of new furniture was discussed in detail as well as a layout for each room to maximize the profits from this Feng Shui Business.  *It is interesting to note here that this client used me for his first office...and his second.  This is the THIRD office he has rented in less then a year as his Business in New York Continues to thrive.

This is a small part on what it entails to Feng Shui a Corporation.  Corporate Feng Shui in New York is not uncommon as more and more people continue to see the Benefits of Good Feng Shui.

Carole, that's just great that your client's business is thriving, and that he continues to use your services. He's obviously doing something right ... and so are you. :)
I hope both your businesses continue to do really well, and I hope you're feeling better.

Carole, so glad this is working out in N.Y.

I think it would help in Ann Arbor, I was in a beautiful building in TN a Keller Williams office.

I have no idea IF it was set up for Feng Shui or not as I am learning, but the flow was really nice. I posted a photo of it on my photo blog of the entrance and the hallway if you want to take a look.

Carole, I received an invitation to attend a Feng Shui - one day class, and I immediately thought of you, and wondered why you're not the one hosting it. :)  Think about it.  $75 per participant, and we get continuing education credits.  Could be a good little business, and I'll give you a tour of the City. :)

Hi Carole, spending the evening catching up on Active Rain -- started with your blog.  I was discussing Fung Shui with a friend several months ago and she asked that I share the information with her.  I just sent her an email with a link to this blog so she can learn from my favorite Fung Shui Consultant.

I do have a question.  you've mentioned that the headboards should be solid and made of wood.  What can be done if the bed has a metal open headboard -- gee, I just realized 3 beds in my home are metal and the headboards are open with vertical "bars".   One is my bed, one is my guestroom bed and I have a metal daybed in another bedroom.  What is done to fix this???   Other than selling them and buying new beds...

Carole - I am fascinated by your Feng Shui posts.  The first 10 years I was in real estate, was in a little Century 21 office.  I don't know anything about Feng Shui, but I was drawn to select a desk near the center of the office, that had a post immediately to the right of the desk.  I could easily see the front door and the side door.

I had the most incredible luck in that office.  I would walk through the door for floor duty, etc., and ask other agents hows the activity today?  They would respond it was slow or deader than a doornail.  I would sit down at my desk, and the phone would start ringing.  I was very superstitious about that desk.  I didn't want it moved, and no agent could pay me to switch from that very spot.  I was Rookie of the Year, my first year in the business. . .And that was 1981 when interest rates reached 18%.

I've never been able to duplicate the energy I felt in that particular office!

Another wonderful post in this series.  I am sure that business can benefit from feng shui and you have demonstrated that in this and other posts.

Pat, It is exciting to see this company keep growing.  I'm thrilled for them.

Sylvie, I'm getting ready to take a reprieve!  I've been busy and need a vacation :)

Missy, Some spaces just FEEL good....It may well have been built with Feng Shui.  I'll go over and take a look and thank you for letting me know.

Sylvie, I'm on my way :)  I really do wish you were closer and this sounds like a wonderful idea.  You should have gone, you would have loved it!

Al & Peggy, That's what I'd like people to do....we call it "Feng Shui Eyes"

Hannah, I hope some of it helps....It's not difficult to write about being my all time favorite subject!

Cheryl, I thought you would have.  I loved this space and the way the other two are doing!

Judi, It's so nice to see you back!  There's not much you can do with those headboards except make sure they are backed to the wall for support. You might also put a Peace Lily plant near your bedside as they help deflect electro magnetic energy.  If you don't have a favorite picture over the bed, you can use something that stands for strength....we often think of Mountains in Feng Shui.

Carol, Please clear your house before you move in....if you need to know how, call me!

Sandy, I'm glad you are enjoying reading about Feng Shui.  Thank you for stopping in to comment.

Myrl, You planted yourself in the center (HEART) of the space.  It's an area that is nourished spriitually and financially.  It makes a huge difference where we put certain employees when designing a business.

Joan, I love doing businesses...they are all different and always a joy to see come together.

Craig, Thank you for the compliment.  This is a lovely spece to work with.

I always hated desks that faced each other. I'm pretty sure I passed up working for one real estate brokerage because the work area for newbies included lots of pairs of desks that faced each other. I just don't like that.
