A Feng Shui Home in Queens New York -- A Forest Hills NY House in Need of Feng Shui

A Feng Shui Home in Queens New York---A Forest Hills NY House in Need of Feng Shui

As a New York Feng Shui Consultant I travel to so many different places of New York City, Long Island, Brooklyn and, of course, the borough of Queens NY, just on the border of Nassau County.

I love to provide Feng Shui Consultations in Queens because of its neighborhoods and diversity.  I have been in different parts of Jamaica, Flushing, and Ozone Park and quite often get called for Feng Shui Help in the beautiful section know as Forest Hills NY.

Forest Hills in Queens have a mixture of Apartments, Condos and beautiful houses.  In fact, it's where my cousins grew up and I've spent a lot of time there in my younger days!

My client had just one request from her Feng Shui Consultation.  She wanted to find a partner; not ANY partner but the RIGHT partner.  She was looking for a relationship.  She was young, attractive, had a wonderful career but had not yet met Mr. Right.  We set out not just to assess her Relationship area of the Bagua but to strengthen ALL areas of her home using the Principles of Feng Shui.

In Feng Shui Relationships, we often think in Pairs.  We like to see "twos"  --  any two objects of the same size placed together mindfully.  We look for like sized objects so we create and attract an EQUAL.

It was suggested to this particular Feng Shui Client in Queens NY to just make some simple re-arrangements.  Her color choices were lovely from a Feng Shui Perspective and we addressed her BEDROOM to incorporate Feng Shui (clearing out under the bed, making room for a new person to enter and seeking a balance in there).

I stay in touch with most of my clients and was not at all surprised to have gotten an email recently that she had just moved in with the perfect man.  She is in love!

**Please note:  There is MUCH more to a Feng Shui Consultation then the Feng Shui Tips and Advice posted above.  It does, however, give you an idea where to start.  If you want something to come into your life, MAKE ROOM FOR IT : )

Carole, you are so multi-talented, Feng Shui, now matchmaker. Very cool story and I liked the discussion on pairs.

Hi Carole-A absolutely delightful and fun post. Feng shui and matchmaking. Now that is so cool. Have a great week. :-)

Hannah, It wouldn't hurt :)  Energy should flow around you when you're sleeping, not get "stuck."  If you have to store things under the bed, no shoes....and keep them down toward the foot of the bed.

Gary, Relationships are part of the Bagua and something we always focus on.  They can be business or personal and those "pairs" do work with some mindful intent :)

Pat, I'm surprised some people don't know that.  All Feng Shui Consultants focus on relationships.  Simple changes and lots of Intention.

Interesting, make room in your life, things will happen. Open your heart and mind to the possibilities...so true.  As for the "nothing under the bed", I understand, but the number one thing we find under beds when staging, is shoes!  What is the reasoning behind this rule of FS?

Cheryl, A very long time ago I did a consultation for a woman who kept repeating that she felt like "people walked all over her."  The first place I went to was under the bed and found (of course) shoes.  In FS it is believed by some to give others an advantage over you and to remove shoes from under the beds.  Funny, because I have seen it since and people have mentioned the same feeling.

Carole--I have goose bumps just from reading this wonderful post.  Thanks for demonstating the art of Feng Shui with a little matchmaking, too.  Love the ending.

Thanks for offering the insight on the shoes under the bed thing. Very interesting...

I am working on the clutter, the accumulated items that I no longer need but have kept [and added to] through the years.  When I have completed the chore of clearing all my clutter, or, at least, MOST of it, I will contact you again because I would like to get a Feng Shui consultation.  I would like such a consultation because, although I have read a lot about Feng Shui, there are still so many things that I do not understand such as "Where is the SOUTHWEST corner of my bedroom?"
