Feng Shui in Long Island New York: How do YOU Attract Helpful People?

Feng Shui in Long Island New York:  How DO you Attract the Helpful People?

As a Feng Shui Practitioner in New York, something I ALWAYS address with Client’s is their HELPFUL PEOPLE AREA.  In all my years of practicing this lovely art of ‘Mindful Placement,’ I have always found this particular area to be the most effective in beginning to change the Energy in a Space, whether it be a home or a business.

We’ve ALL got some wonderful Helpful People in our lives.  Some of us have many while others only a few; it doesn’t matter because in Feng Shui, what we want to do is attract MORE.  It almost never fails.

If you think about it, just ONE Helpful person can help bring almost anything you need or want into your life.  A new job (Career) or opening that they pass along to you, a handyman or painter…..even a new love interest.  When we stop and think of our Helpful People, we ACKNOWLEDGE them.  And then we leave room for MORE helpful people to come in.

It makes perfect sense to me; we ALL need good friends who truly care about us and those that we know would help us out of ANY situation if called upon.  Those that are never far away—the very people you can Depend on.  Honestly, who doesn’t want more of these people in our lives?  These treasures come in all shapes and sizes....if you look around, life can be filled with them!

Love Feng Shui by Feng Shui Practitioner Carole Provenzale in NYC

You CAN meet new Helpful People every day :) !

Honor the ones you have….and more will come.  It does help to tie an action into this which for some of my clients comes easily while others find it difficult but SPEAK TO PEOPLE.  It doesn’t matter where you are, TALK.  You’d be surprised how many will respond to you and more likely then not, something will come up in the conversation that may help you out a great deal!

Recently, a Feng Shui Client on Long Island NY made a change to this area.  Some of her friends already knew she was seeking “Mr. Right” but had no one they thought would be a good match for her.  While out shopping, she saw a cashier she knows from shopping in the store.  A friend of the cashier’s happened to be there as well and a simple introduction turned into a Love Match.  She added this person to her list of Helpful People : )

A new Helpful Person in New York City!

While some Feng Shui Consultants use a slightly different Bagua, the INTENTION and results are the same.  What made me think of writing another post about Helpful People AND the benefits of them was a post recently added to the group Feng Shui for Real Estate which was formed by Bob and Carolin BenjaminFeng Shui for Real Estate

If you’re not a member, please do join and contribute.  I didn’t want others to miss this post because I found it informative and VERY helpful!  Good enough that Charlene Storozuk was awarded the Chi Award, something I give out on occasion for really outstanding posts.

And then for goodness sakes. Take a few minutes to address YOUR helpful people…..you never know unless you try!

Carole - You just never know what great relationships may come your way when you simply say the words "thank you" to someone.

Carole, to me what you are talking about is positive synergy. I worked recently on a project and it all came together at the very end wonderfully because of all the helpful people. Finding them here in the Rain like yourself builds a very powerful network.

Carole--what a great post for Saturday!  You made my day.  Thanks.

The part about meeting 'Mr. Right' reminded me of how I met my husband.  I will re-tell that story in a future post.

As Gary said in his comment there are lots of helpful people here at AR.  Thanks for your friendship.

Carole- Helpful people- thank you for this post. I get so busy sometimes this gets pushed off when it shouldn't be. I will pay closer attention to thanking the helpful people.

Carole, you know how much I love the tag sales out here, but among the reasons are the interesting people that I run into. While they have never been viewed as "helpful", or potentially so, it's something to keep in mind with everyone that we meet, isn't it...very interesting!! It might also raise aspirations to BE that helpful person.

Joan, I have some outgoing clients who do talk to others and then some who don't...Open your mouth, I always tell them :

Hannah, I know you are helpful and with good reason...your posts share lots of wonderful information!  I always try to read them.

Teri, Thank you....and there are lots more out there.    Your mission:  FIND them.

Betina, When you walk in your front door, see what's immediately on your Right Hand Side.  You've just found Helpful People.

Donna, This is such an easy, HELPFUL thing to do....I wish more people tried it, it does work!

Gary, I call it the Synchronicity but it's the same thing.  Everything comes together and works out better then you may have imagined.

Mary, I will look forward to your post!  I always love how one post often kicks off another one :)

Bill, I am careful about who I recommend as well; I believe it reflects on you.  When people do great work for me, I am confident to pass them along to my clients.

Sharon, Thank you, they are everywhere.  I do believe it's only Six Degrees of Separation (or less :)

Katerina, It's an area I try not to neglect.  I've found when you stop honoring them, they often stop coming.  I think I'll do an update myself today.

Laurie, I have to find your sale of the Century out on the East End...EVERYONE wants to go, including myself :)  I do agree that we try to be helpful people as well--I always believe what goes around comes back to you.

Carole- You are so right about helpful people.  We all need them and their influence can go beyond our wildest imagination.  You treat people right and they will treat you right.

Your post aligns with the "shovel buddy" theory.  And it's one that I have lived by all my life.  While I have many acquaintances, I cherish my true friends that have been there ... time and time again.  Helpful people come in all shapes, sizes, colors and from all different walks of life.  They are a treasure for sure.

Another great post, sharing information that is helpful to everyone!  As you have said many times, it deesn't matter if others believe it, the energy goes on with or without...

Carole, what a wonderful post.  I'm going to remember what you said about this area being the most effective to change the energy in a space and I will start with that area first on consultations.  Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this.  You've been so helpful and supportive to me while I wrote my Feng Shui series, I can't thank you enough.  Thank you so much for mentioning my post and you have no idea how thrilled I was about the Chi Award!  I hope we'll have the opportunity to meet some day.

A sidenote to Jo:  We must get together. We're practically neighbours - I'd love to meet you!

My wise old grandmother told me to surround myself with people whose strengths complemented my weaknesses, and whose weaknesses were complemented by my strengths. The ultimate in being helpful and finding helpful people.
