I knew I would be writing up a follow up to a Feng Shui Tip I posted a while ago to help you bring IN some money. But there are some of us who worry about "Meeting our Bills." How can you know that your bills, at least, will be COVERED, even as unanticipated ones arrive, seemingly all the time?
Please note that I am only addressing some Black Sect Methods here from my own experience, perspectives and what has occurred with my clients in my years of experience. As earlier pointed out, there are literally hundreds of Principles of Feng Shui, different ways to use and practice it and they WORK. I am trying, with these posts, to remove some of the confusion associated with trying to incorporate all the different methods and The Bagua is, to me, the most practical way to get that information to you.
When Professor Lin Yun brought Feng Shui to the United States he developed this method which is a life station map for all the important areas of your lives. He works primarily on the aspect of INTENTION and teaches that your Intentions create about 80% of what you are seeking to create during a Consultation and the changes that you make, although important, account for only 20%. We keep this principle in mind while making any changes, to focus and instill our Energy into the changes as we are making them.
If some of you have caught an earlier post, I had a large LEAK in my basement. And didn't panic in spite of the added expenses. I have my bills "Covered" and know that the money will come in to pay for what is not covered by the Insurance Company and the large deductible I had on the house. And as time goes on, not only will you notice that somehow the bills are all getting out on TIME, there is also some extra left over for the things you don't Need, but Want. An amazing synchronicity takes place in Feng Shui and that often occurs that as one area gets "moving" in the right direction, other areas often follow.
Here is a simple tip that has worked for myself and my clients over the years to Keep your Bills Covered. Yes, it is almost too easy to be true but the feedback I have gotten over the years tells me that it WORKS! Try it....and keep me posted. And remember to infuse you intentions with your energy that your bills will always be paid.
It's simply to "Cover your Bills." Literally. With money. Put a $20 bill over the little stack you are likely to accumulate if you're like me and pay your bills once a week. I actually changed back over from the easy, online payment to this method because it has worked for myself and my clients. Infuse your intention that the bills will be covered and they will be covered ON TIME. And let me know if after a month or two, you find that it's kicked in and starting to work...and then the "extras" come!
It takes an enormous amount of strain off you, for one thing but it is important to remember that we are working with an intangible here, Pure Energy and Good Intentions. Our Bodies are full of energy, the Universe is full of Energy and your surroundings are full of Energy; and there is plenty to go around.
Future topics will include some important Feng Shui Principles that will be useful for Real Estate Agents and Home Stagers, using many of the same principles from a different perspective.
*And please, remember this is only ONE method, only one tiny layer in Feng Shui. To help make it understandable and hopefully to Help you!
**If you didn't catch my update on a previous post about a homeowner I worked with in New Jersey who had an enormous flooding of her basement, I would like to publicly thank someone I have never met for emailing me to help out with this lovely client. She is a Home Stager not very far and has offered to come in, at her own time and expense, to help out a person in need. This is what WE call "Helpful People" and her name is Debra Brodhecker. My client was beyond thrilled to hear it and very, very grateful!

Okay Carole this sounds easy enough so I will try it. Do you have an extra $20?? Just kidding, thanks for the tip. This is definitely an area that ALWAYS concerns me

Dave, it HAS worked, simple as it is...try it and let us know!
Melody, thank you for sharing that. Once people give Feng Shui a try they DO believe in it...it works :)
Endea, you already know...watch those bills get covered AND the extras come in.
Phyllis, I'll loan you the $20. I covered the leak and my forgotten Geico bill....
Lizette, get those other bills off line....it will work better. It does take more time but it is worth it!
Carole, I have been practicing the principals of 'The Secret' They sound very similar to this feng shui cure. Intentions can become real. If you focus on what you want then it will come to you if you believe it. Have a look at my post on 'The Secret' If you want to compare them.
Very interesting blog. I have taken a very simple course in Feng Shui and it makes so much sense. I understand some of the basic principals but you are right, there are so many different principals of Feng Shui. I think the one I was taught was from the Black Hat or Black Cat ? Can't remember.
Carole,
We discussed this concept last night and today I did, in fact, put $20 over my bills. I have to tell you, and this is the truth, that I heard of two different ways that large amounts of money are coming to me within the next 2 weeks!
You never cease to amaze me and all of your 'cures' have worked for me thus far! And my Lucky Cat keeps on waving in more success and money! I never would have known about that if it weren't for you!

Carole --- I wonder what would happen if I stacked up my monthly bank statements, and placed a bill on top of those? What would happen with a $50 dollar bill or a $100 dollar bill? (Or would that seem too greedy?) And you say a little affirmation or prayer and think special thoughts as you do this? "My bills are covered on time and in full?"
And that little box containing the stack of bills (or bank statements) should I place it in a particular spot in the room?
I'm thinking I should find something especially pretty for the bill box. A little lined basket maybe? But not too big -- too big would invite more bills in to fill up the space, no? <s>
Thanks again for all your contributions -- I am so glad to see you return to work after all the challenges at your own home!
