Writing & Reading Positive Intentions Increase Oppurtunities For Change

"In a 2006 study published in the journal NeuroImage, researchers in Spain asked participants to read words with strong odor associations, along with neutral words, while their brains were being scanned by a functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) machine. When subjects looked at the Spanish words for “perfume” and “coffee,” their primary olfactory cortex lit up; when they saw the words that mean “chair” and “key,” this region remained dark." Source NY Times

So what does this have to do with Feng Shui and Intention writing/reading?

This gives us another scientific clue on the great importance with our selection of words and sentence construction when creating intentions. It's suggested to use words that describe motion and influence the sensory cortex (textures of life) to offer a stronger response.

This also helps exercise our imagination.

Essentially, the words and thoughts you pump create are writing your life's story and experiences that accompany it. This includes the characters, scenery and events.

An example of this could be when I am meeting with a female client who is wishes to manifest a partner.

Common response I receive is:

" I want a partner who is caring, loving and we will be happy."

What about his character, morals, values, hobbies, interests, family connection, physical traits, etc?

Remember, you are the director of this movie, author of this story, be more precise.

How about:

"I deserve a gentleman who is playful, witty, adventurous, humorous, down to earth, open minded, spiritual, loves the creative and/or visual arts, great communicator, patient, flows with the rhythm of life, persistent, spontaneous, cultured and loves rouged and luxury travels, emotionally available, mindful of his health and well-being, athletically built, has a great sense and practice of family values and is committed and loyal."

Keep this in mind, what you describe to some degree is also a description of yourself (either with current traits you already have or could learn and experience with your partner).

Happy intention writing!
