This can be a very delicate topic. Feng Shui is still very much new and the awareness is growing every day. One of the on going debates about Feng Shui is that people think of it as a religion. Feng Shui is not a religion. What sets Feng Shui apart from being a religion is that there is no set place to "pray" or give "worship". Feng Shui has principles to guide you but, in the end each person will experience this practice differently, it is always unique to your life.
Feng Shui is a mixture of different belief systems. It can coexists with all religions and cultures, if the person implementing Feng Shui into their life allows it to. The practice and lifestyle of Feng Shui is to be mindful of all and the enviroment.

Laura Cerrano Feng Shui NY consultant helped a spiritual healer enhance his Religious shop in New York. His concern, was that he did not want to upset the balance of spirituality within his store with the combination of Feng Shui. The challenge for this type of consultation was to suggest Feng Shui changes for specific areas but, not to disturb the spiritual energy already within that space. In the end, Laura pin pointed a specific area that needed to be addressed and and the shop owner agreed.
Laura always tells her clients, Feng Shui suggestions will be made but, if you are uncomfortable or feel that suggestions are not right for you or your space...you do not have to make the changes. If anything, you can always try and be aware of the changes and see if they are leading you in the right direction. Being fully open and honest with your Feng Shui consultant is so important. From Laura's experience she feels it is important that both you and your Fegn shui consultant work together, rather then have your suggestions "dictated" to you.
