Setting the Decor for some Feng Shui Love in Mahattan NY

 While you're setting up the special Feng Shui feel for that special person, think about the ambiance you want to create for a beautifully set table.  This was a relatively simple and elegant interior design table setting that was created easily andi inexpensively.  You might want to try these Feng Shui tips and ideas for your next Manhattan Feng Shui Meal. 

 On the glass table NY Feng Shui consultant Laura Cerrano placed red grapes and strawberries, two tall wine glasses (already available from home) filled with Martini and Rossey spakling wine (which goes great with desserts).  If you choose to use wine, it can be anything your taste buds desire.

To finish the decor off, Laura bought two tea candles ( to symbolize igniting the idea of partnership) from the dollar store and a small vase like container filled a quarter of the way with a lavender scented oil. And Woila! You have the setting for some Feng Shui Love in Manhattan NY.

In Feng Shui we always discuss with our clients to never pass up opportunities in their life no matter how large or minute it may seem.  About three years ago Laura Cerrano of Feng Shui Manhattan NY had the once in a life time opportunity to meet Maya Angelou.  At the time she wasn't aware of who Maya Angelou was.

While heading off to the city to meet with this unknown person one day, one of our friends decided not to go last minute and spent the day in MOMA.  The rest of us proceeded to the Upper East side of New York to her beautiful Brownstone apartment.

Entering into her Brownstone NY apartment you felt a presence of knowledge and unconditional love.  We we're taken aback by the colors and decor of her lively, energetic five level New York City apartment.  What a delight. We sat there and had a wonderful lunch and discussion about true Friendships from the heart.  I learned things and thought of things on that very special day that I would never have known. 

Remember not to overlook your opportunities in life, they are too rare.  Your days can start off feeling like a ground hog day, but you would never know the possibilities they are opening up to.

New York City "Homeless" Artwork...Should Manhattan NY have to be Without?...

To my fellow artist of New York City and the surrounding NY-Tri state areas. Many of you might have noticed a bit of controversy in the art world on the streets of Manhattan New York yesterday. Mayor Bloomberg and the Parks Department of New York City proposed to limit the amount of art vendors selling their work in major New York City parks, such as Union Square, Battery park, areas of Central Park and High Line Park.  Their reason is because they have noticed the parks being "too crowded and feel it has become dangerous." 

I walk the streets of NYC and have had the pleasure of creating and selling artwork during the peek seasons for sales.  The New York City Art vendors are work hard to get their names out to the universe (public) and make an honest living.  If you take a deeper look, with any issue, it always boils down to who saving and making money.  Because these artist have made a nice home in these beautiful NYC Parks and can do pretty well, it seems it has been making the "bigger" named galleries nerves around those locations.  If this is the case, then please, we welcome you to step up your competition and join us in the parks.
